Must hold a grudge to successful singles skaters because she couldn't make it in singles and had to move to pairs.I'm stunned hearing Meagan Duhamel words about Anna in TSL interview. This is pure body shaming and bullying cunningly dressed in false concern.
I suspect, if she said that about any North-American skater, nobody from fs community would've shaken her hand anymore, while humiliating 16yo Russian girl is completely cool there.

Anna and Sasha's first layouts after test-skates were these layouts listed, so I bet that is when it was submitted.
It's really disturbing how eager and harsh in judging she is, being so distant from Anya and her training environment.
And all of it from a grown-up woman, mother and a champion.

I'm disappointed to hear this. But TSL also creates this atmosphere and I'm sure they led her on, I wish she was more sensible. Not just anti-Anna, but also comes across anti-Russia because I don't see why a *foreign* specialist is necessary and is automatically better. Saying it should not be just Daniil is a completely different point.

I can relate to not cheering Anna, everyone is allowed to have their favorites.
But she could say that she is not cheering her because of some real technical flaws or smth. Not a bunch of basic jelous bi*ch bs.
Yea, because Shae Lynn Bourne worked out so well for Alyona, right?
Sasha makes her Rozanov/Plushy programs work very well in my opinion. I don't see why they would hire Bourne.

aka stating they would never be able to perform her layout. Or am I remembering wrong?
About the planned layouts here, obviously they are wrong. Anna would never accept to just jump 1 quad at worlds and thereby passively settling for bronze. She'll go 2-3 quads even if her life was hanging on by a thread (if you think that's positive or negative is your decision)

That's it. It's differwent to say "I'm cheering for Sasha/Liza/whoever" and to practically say "I don't want this girl to win becasue bsbsbs."

i think that was in response to Wagner, who IMO has never said anything close to what Megan has said. she's never been afraid to voice her opinion, but i've never gotten disrespectful, mean girl vibes from Ashley. i don't think she meant it as a jab to Alina at all, she recognized her layout was super hard, couldn't do it herself and congratulated her on her Olympic win. she just didn't agree with the rules.

Sasha seems to be in amazing condition - she did her SP run-through and landed everything clean with a 3A! Outside of her run-through she apparently also landed 4Lz, 4T-Eu-3S, 4T and a 4S. So she really could be doing two 4Ts in the free. Overall she looks great.
Liza apparently landed her 3A several times today! I can't find any information outside of that, I don't even know what program she ran.
Anna did not have a great practice. She tried and fell on the 4F a few times, then did her FS run-through, but for some reason her music kept jamming. The post says they had her restart FIVE TIMES. Eventually she just did her run-through with all triples. But there's a clip of her doing a 3Lz where her 4Lz should be, which doesn't make sense in her layout, so it would indicate that she's planning to go for 4Lz and 4F at least, even though she didn't seem to try the 4Lz today. She landed one 4F after her run-through (or five run-throughs? Uncertain).
There will be another practice later today. Sasha will probably run her FS there and we'll see her layout.

The ISU didn't agree with the back loading rules either which is why they changed them.
But the rules were fine until the Eteri Russian revolution!I remember what Ashley said about Alina and it pisses me off. What did Megan say if it was worse? That will be like a great doubles player in tennis criticizing Serena Williams or Roger Federer. Lol.

No, I don't talk about Ashley's words at the olympics, also Ashley later gave her appreciation to Alina. This was a completely different thing, at the GPF and later Meghan made several very nasty coments about Alina in the sense "she's done" and all this, which was the more nasty because just before she made some vid with Alina, gave her (fake) smiles and so.

Let's hope it's usual "Anna's trainings before competitions are never very good" (like before Skate America 2019 Tara and co said she kept falling and falling all the week at quad attempts or the training before nationals). And at least it really means she will put 4Lz into the program.

I think Anna is beautiful and she has a gotten a little heavier in the last year. Just can't see hating on this girl but it happens.
There aren't many, no full run-through videos or anything. But try scrolling through #alexandratrusova and #annashcherbakova on Instagram and sorting by recent for small clips.
