They seriously had Alena wear handcuffs as part of the costume. As if the lyrics arent literal enough about her situation. :palmf:

I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure the handcuffs are a reference to the music video? Billie wears a ton of chains in the MV (on her wrists too). Also, even if it also does kind of fit her situation, she did get the choreo + program before the transfer so that was totally unintended too.

Continuing to persist about Ksenia Sinitsina. Miss her! I don't speak Russian but I'm assuming her insta and Twitter are private anyway, due to her age. Idk if the Snow Leopards are the type of club to post videos of their skaters' difficult jumps? I don't know anyone else who is a snow Leopard, is there more talent coming up?

Sahsa's F gets called nationally. She's been called on every F she's done this year but one - Rostelecom FS and really there she messed up everyone. She she got called in the SP there.
Wait, really? I thought sasha was one of the few skaters who could do a correct flip and a correct lutz based on her doing both in the sp. Like how Loena and Rika and Carolina seem to have both correct edges, but I could be wrong. I rely on very very slow motion to tell if a jump is on wrong edge.

They're not having her wear anything hahah just like they didn't have her skate to Billie Eilish, that's her taste.
You really think Dudakov and Eteri would suggest some American emo pop star music for a program? I bet they didn't even know who that girl was before their teenage skaters started wanting to skate to her songs.
As stated above, those cuffs are a reference to the actual music video of that song.

Zagitova needs to drop down to attempting doubles or go to the Sasha Cohen school of performing exhibitions where you're so mesmerizing you don't need jumps and people forget you didn't do any jumps; saw 3 jump attempts with 3 really ugly falls.
I think what you said has shocked a lot of people here.

Alina will be a lot better by the end of the tour.
If she's not skating better at the next show then drop down to the doubles. But I can guarantee you she will want to do the triples. Its a matter of pride.

Agree. But it also shows that a comback for the Olympic year for Alina is very unrealistic.

Well there are a couple things there. Her 3Lz is the right edge. Her 3F did used to be better; however, her 4F did have the wrong edge. There is some speculation that she's been called on the 3F now, and didn't get called before, because she left Eteri. However, it isn't a correct flip and seems to be affected by her 4F.

(She also has been called internationally before. Just not often at all and never domestically.)

Rukavitsyn about Nugumanova and Gubanova (41m12s mark):

Praises Nugumanova for this season, accentuates she's been alternate for Worlds and WTT, which is great achievement she's proud of, doesn't want to elaborate much on Gubanova, but claims she is in great form, but also some "potential changes may occur", generally though - they've been preparing two programs for her, expecting she's going to show good skating next season.

Pretty normal that Alina is losing her jumps if she stopped seriously training almost 2 years ago, is busy with events, commercials etc and has clearly gained weight and changed body shape as an 18yo(?) woman that doesn't train 8h per day for 6 days a week.
Most retired female skaters stop jumping in exhibitions sooner or later or reduce their jumps to 1 triple toe and the likes.
Maybe this specific ex was just an off day, but she surely will go in this direction with time and there's nothing wrong with it.

(Although of course it would hurt your pride as the everything-champion to do a jumpless ex in the Eteri show, where every little girl is jumping quads. I get why she would prefer to go for them here.)

She's been called internationally before? That seems odd given that last season she actually did have a correct flip.
