Actually she should make the world team quite easily.

Considering the kinds of inflated marks Emily has been getting this year, don't bet on it. It's unlikely but possible that Alisssa or Bebe could have a good Nationals.

Ashley is way more consistant than Emily plus she has a beatuful body lines. Her spins and spirals remind me of Sarah Hughes.
As for Alissa and Bebe... I highly doubt that they will make the team, and if they did, the americans will most likely loose the 3 spots for the next worlds.

I could see the team being Meissner, Hughes, and Wagner... but you just never know

Ashley is really building a reputation for herself as a reliable, consistent skater and the USFSA HAS to respect that. Aside from Kimmie, she's the only one eligible to go to senior Worlds who has this quality.

I agree that Ashley is a beautiful and consistent skater, and I personally think her body line is superior to Sarah Hughes. But for one reason or another her marks have never been that high, even by junior standards. Ashley's total score here, for what looks like two nearly-clean programs, is lower than Emily's total score at Skate Canada with only the easier triples and heavy-handed skating.

She's actually my favorite US lady besides Mirai Nagasu...it'd be terrific if she made Worlds and had a strong showing.

In a fair competition, I think Wagner would be placed above Hughes. Wagner is remarkably consistant, and she has a rare combination of prescence/performance AND good jumps. Honestly, I think she'll be a big threat to Mirai and Caroline in the future. Especially because I think Ashley's already gone through a lot of the body changes that those two haven't yet.

would be awesome if Ashely beats Kimmie!! I love the way Kimmie's skates move but her upper body moves somewhat juniorish to me, not polished at all.
