Free Dance?

nb. I haven't seen any of their programs this season, but I _hated_ their OD last year with the purifying heat of a thousand suns going nova and still haven't gotten over that. To be fair I should put my prejudice against cheap-acrobatic-tricks-masquerading-as-dance aside but someone I don't want to. It feels nice to hate now and then....
I'm interested in that, too. Did they lose a part of the costume somewhere on the way or what..?
I'm a bit disappointed by the FDs here (although I liked D/S's music choice - too bad it didn't suit them very well). So far I enjoyed V/M's FD the most - by far - although initially I wasn't very fond of the music (while I loved B/A's and D/S's).
I heard that she got a deduction because the judges thought the costume was too revealing. I don't see that myself, but perhaps the judges are more sensitive than I am.
It didn't hit me as particularly revealing... Then again I was distracted by Sergei's tights, which looked a bit hilarious to me.

i've heard that costuming is part of the judging. True?

They can really get a deduction for haveing a revealing costume? I'm surprised we don't see more of those deductions. 
I can think of some more revealing that K/N's were. As for the FD's I've watched most of them and still like V/M the best by a long shot. I've been a V/M fan for years, though, so I'm slightly prejudiced.

I've been a V/M fan for years, though, so I'm slightly prejudiced.Delobel& Schoenfelder had only 5 level 4s, 2 level 3s, and 1 level 1. 94.53 is lower than the score they recieved at Ondrej Nepela of 95.37.( I don't know what the levels were for this) I've watched their freedance on youtoub, and I don't care for it ,perhaps they need to work on their levels and soon. I wish they would go back to their old style , this soft and airy style doesn't suit them in my opinion, but I still hope they do well in their next comp.
Yes -- there is a rule that ladies are required to wear skirts and pants "covering the hips and posterior". Jana's skirt left one of her hips bare.

All Jana needs is a little more fabric to cover up her hip and she's good to go.

Ok, that program could be so much better. The slow romantic section in the beginning - Olivier, would it hurt you to make eye contact with your beautiful partner? Then, during the faster section, after the failed twizzle, they do a lift that starts with both of them in spread eagle, her on his skates, and they he lifts her to his shoulder... for goodness sakes, it's supposed to look effortless. Olivier actually appears to grimace! And her frikin dress - in the lift, it looks like her diaper came loose!
Man, I hope they fix this stuff. They are one fabulous team with tons of potential but they can't afford a stinker like this.

Loved this, better than Skate America. Funny how the videographer focused on Charlie instead of Merrill at the beginning - guess Charlie is just to pretty for the camera to resist. So, anyone else think they remind them a little of Toby MacGuire and Liv Tyler from the Lord of the Rings movie?

thanks, on Europe on Ice they has written...despite receiving a one point deduction for their costumes which shed material onto the ice..
so where the true is?
