So this pretty much confirms that Medvedeva wont compete for the olympics. So its just the 3A, Maia, Daria, Kamila And Elizaveta

Well, I’m disappointed no Yuzuru in Canada this year but super excited for Sui/Han and Liza + Aliona Kostornaia! And Carriera/Ponomarenko! And I’m just starting to go through the lists.

Me too. How does Zhou who didnt even qualify for the fs in Worlds get 2 spots and his world standings is lower than Boyang.

I was surprised to see Nathan chose back-to-back GPs, but then I realized that Skate America and Skate Canada were both in his current time zone, which is massively convenient. Also very little travel required to get to both.

Nathan, Jason and Tomoki at Skate Canada. What a lineup. (ETA: for the Americans. And Keegan and Romsky too)

And to no one's surprise, Yuzu gets NHK.

Nathan is probably doing two in a row to prep for the Olympics. OTE and the individual event are about one week away from each other.

... And Kamila. I am hoping Medvedeva can get in shape enough to be at Rostelecom as I'd like to see her last year's programs done cleanly.

I'm sad not to see Calalang/Johnson. What's happened to them?

And I'm over the moon at Sota getting an assignment.

Yeah, I am disappointed for no Panfilova/Rylov, and I guess Kondratyuk and Mozalev are going to be both eyeing that last host spot in Russia, while Samsonov got 2… but Vegas line-up is exceptional for me, so we ordered tickets there rather than Skate Canada. Fingers crossed things will improve pandemic-wise before October.

Poor Nathan has back-to-back assignments. At least he has a break before the final, but this means he won't be able to go to the Olympic Test Event.
Yuzuru has the last event. With Nationals right after the Final, hopefully he doesn't get too tired. (maybe he won't go to 4CC to rest before the Olympics? And will he try the 4A?)
I'm really happy that Shun (and Keiji and Kazuki) got two assignments (and Shun got one with Yuma)
NHK Trophy is LOADED. (And Skate America looks incredible as well)
Mikhail's back at CoC! Maybe he'll land his 4Lz again?
Shoma and Vincent
Could Yuma win one (or both) of his events? I don't anyone could stop him at the Internationaux if he skates mostly clean.
Jason could maybe podium at both events? I think he got the two easiest.

Skate Canada is STACKED in ladies. So is NHK. I think there are a lot of question marks over how most of these skaters will perform, so it will be very interesting.
Rino Matsuike and Mai Mihara each have an assignment! I'm so excited to see them this season!


Dai and Kana are going to NHK Trophy! I'm so happy! And Japan has a spot left at NHK Trophy. That'll probably go to either one of the other ice dance teams if they look good this season, or Team KoKo

NHK looks to be the best event in all four disciplines. Japan's so lucky.

I'm pretty sure Rylov's injury is pretty serious which may explain why Panfilova/Rylov didn't get any assignments... Hopefully he'll recover soon and Apollinariia will get a consistent 3S in the meantime. They have great potential to become the dominating pair of the next quad (if they get that triple).

Also quite disappointing to see no Shevchenko/Eremenko and Khudaiberdieva/Bazin in the assignments. And no Kondratyuk... and no Liza Nugumanova...

But I am absolutely elated that Kseniia Sinitsyna got 2 assignments!!!!!

They're going to be wild. 6 of the 12 ladies at SCI and 5 of the 12 at NHK potentially have 3As!!

Agreed, I do hope Khudaiberdieva/Bazin get one of the TBAs—Rostelecom seems most likely. Ice dance can always use a true diva to liven things up
