Jason Brown

Here's my thoughts on Vincent (which I've shared freely with El) He still is not consistent! He has all the skill in the world but he can't always keep it together. I think in a head to head competition with Jason, the only way he'll beat him is if he skates totally clean and lands his multiple quads. When was the last time that happened? As for Keegan - darling as he is - his performance level is nowhere near Jason's. Again - must skate clean and Jason has to make a mistake. I'm not saying Jason's assignments are easy, but I think medaling at both of those competitions is very, very possible. He just has to go out there and sell those programs like we know he can. I actually like the lineups in all of the GPs.
Oh I definitely think medals are possible at both events - I just don’t think it’s a given that he’ll medal. Given that pretty much all the guys at both of his events jump multiple quads, he could place quite low if he skates like he did at WTT. Of course, I’m hoping he skates much better than that!

More fluff from Jason, talking about Sinnerman for a a general audience. He's certainly being cooperative with all these promos.

An hour a day stretching😯 I better not hear any of that hoo-hah about how what Jason does is so easy😡
An hour of stretching after he finishes his work on the ice! Nice to hear him talk about his program, no matter how often we hear it!

He has the two easiest Grand Prix assignments. He will probably finish on the podium at Skate Canada, quite possibly with the silver. IdF is a little more up in the air: it depends on how Kevin, Shun, and Andrei skate, but he could also easily make that podium. Even if Jason doesn't make it to the final, he'll probably be an alternate. And he could quite possibly make it to the Final with the way the assignments have fallen. That would be a dream come true. ❤️
Not to mention Jason's very first GP medal came at (then) Trophée Bompard.

Jason of course:clap: Kevin, Deniss, Keegan, an excellent group of men IMO.

Grenoble is only two or three hours farther for me than Vancouver. Unfortunately six hours vs nine hours is not much of a choice even for Jason:D
Nationals! Not as far as either GP!

OK, since we have no new skating or news to talk about (yet:) )

Who are those dogs in Jason's last three IG stories? And yes, I know he took great photos with Hamilton, but when did Jason become such an animal lover:biggrin:

No idea, but it looks like he might be visiting someone? It doesn't look quite like his apartment.

Didn't he have a dog at one point?

A few years ago, he had photos he would post on social media of himself with Emily Oltmann's dog, Hamilton. I don't think Jason and Millie were housemates, but who knows? I never got that interested in his living arrangements.

Then again, here I am talking about those dogs in the IG story, so if I am bored, who knows:laugh:

Canada Day on July 1 + the cottage culture in Canada seemingly came together to give Jason his long weekend of rest and recovery? :)

In any case, I am loving 🤎 the dogs 💛, who I think he started showing on Thu.

As expected, The Professional Skater magazine put Melanie Heaney's Photo of the Year on its cover (Jul-Aug issue).

A fluff piece in the local paper about the PFT with Peggy Fleming talking about how wonderful Jason is:

“Jason is just so creative,” Fleming said. “It’s hard to tell what his signature move is because he has so many.”

She's not wrong. ;)

A nice accolade for Jason from my first ever favorite skater. Looking forward to this!

I still see his name on the list here:

Am I missing something?
The Fanzone page tweeted by US Figure Skating today does not list Jason:
