How is Bradie feeling? She hasn't withdrawn from her event which gives me hope that her injury is not too serious. She was so great for 90% of last season and I hope she's going to be ready for her first event.
If you’re referring to Cranberry, she did withdraw from it.

Liu scores a 65.41. Will be interesting to see the protocols.

Keep in mind that summer competitions are in no way indicative of how a skater will perform later on during the actual season. Also, this is Liu’s first “real” competition since the 2021 US Nationals.

Protocols: https://ijs.usfigureskating.org/leaderboard/results/2021/30003/SEGM033.html

Alysa fell on her opening triple-Axel and received a downgrade on their 3Lz3Lo combination. This is the first time I’ve seen Alysa attempt a loop combination since she was in Novice (?).

Fell on 3A, and she went for triple lutz triple loop and had the loop downgraded. She's going for it all. Components seem low, but probably because of the type of competition this was.
Because this is such a small competition, I think it's smart to experiment with technical content. Despite a fall and a downgrade, it's still a solid score. I think she'll be even better at cranberry in a week or so; this season is all about peaking at the right moment!

Wow!!! Alysa trying a 3Lz3Loop is really exciting!!!! Especially with a 3A! She's really determined to rack up those points!!!

I'd feel less worried about Bradie if it is indeed a logistics thing. She seemed super bouncy on Instagram last time she posted.

I was........This makes me sad and worried

Unless we start hearing that she's injured I don't think withdrawing from a summer competition is cause for concern, a lot of top skaters don't do multiple summer/pre-GP competitions, the top Russians, excluding Mishin's skaters, typically only do 1 Challenger event prior to their GP. I think a skater like Liu who had to regain her top jumps and went through some growing pains last year is a little different from an established senior skater like Tennell

Emily Zhang leads after the SP at the Chesapeake Open with a score of 59.51 (3A<<, 3Lz+2T, 3F).

Here's her 3A attempt.
