2021 Cranberry Cup Int'l Senior Men's FS

And now that I'm back...

Max has been a favorite of mine since junior days, but I was a doubter. So elegant, but often not putting it together, Can't say I quite get the program, but typical Max elegance, and now putting it all together. :)

And two SCOB skaters on the podium:clap:

Looking at the protocols, I think the PCS were too low for everyone even for this early in the season. Stingy judges!!!

Man, Vincent just needs to be THIS focused going forward into the season. This is a layout that he should keep and work on polishing those jumps, artistry, and getting even more stamina (which he already has, but now needs an insane amount of stamina to perform 5 quads).

Also, wouldn't that be something if Zhou gets a standing ovation in Beijing? 😌 Yes, it would be amazing to have another Shoma or first time Yuma making podium, but from a personal and cultural perspective, it would mean SO much to Zhou to make it in Beijing.

Bring the house down Vincent.

OK, I liked Vincent's performance as much as everyone else, but now he's an Olympic medallist?:)

First let him get back the third spot for the US that slipped away, because, well, all's well that ends well if he stays this motivated.

Haha, he's obviously not for now. And he is quite unpredictable (!), but one can applaud the effort he's making now. These are all comments that will go away with the wind in time. No need to take my words too srsly 😅

I hope I didn't sound like I wanted to rain on your parade, I do think that Vincent skating the Crouching Tiger in Beijing would be a sight to see.

I just want the third spot first.

Well, Vincent better get back the third spot for the Olympics. Period. If he doesn't, he shouldn't be assigned to the the team, no matter how he performs at U.S. Nationals.

I know Vincent works hard, and he's a worthy person. But, I am still rather detached watching him skate. I can admire his amazing prowess and hard fought accomplishments when he achieves them. But I am still detached from feeling that I can truly understand and identify with him and his skating. Kudos for his determined efforts here at Cranberry.
