Oh no, and then this trainwreck of a Bolero. So far, I only like the first half of Shcherbakova's FS, none of the rest have much to make me excited...

I don't think it's necessarily a disaster to not have amazing programs for Olympics but what's more alarming is that these are the programs for the Olympics season - season during which you want to be at your very best and to not be experimenting or trying to reinvent the wheel at all. So what's to come next season when we're in experimentation mode again?

I know, but I still find it impressive how Eteri girls (Trusova in particular, and apparently Valieva as well) can basically do -Eu-3S from standstill.

I can't help it but my favorite part of this program is still the opening seconds. That arm movement looks epic. The rest is.................not my cup of tea.

I must be imagining it since I think this Bolero has even less to do with music than it did last season... Perhaps it's because she wasn't having success with the quads but this performance was just... so far below what she should be capable of. Why did they repeat this awful Bolero? ...
