Well, he kept fighting!

OK, see the Celtic Knot on Conor's left shoulder. Well, I always thought the Chique Sport logo was a stylised version of it. But, it was only when I saw the logo on the boards yesterday that I realised that it was actually a C at the top with a fallen over S below it.

Getting back to Conor, I loved that programme!!!

It would have been nice if he had done a bit of Irish dancing in the middle à la Rika Hongo, but hey!

Goes into 4th in the FS, and 3rd overall.

Not what he would have been looking, but it is still early in the season.

Really looking forward to seeing this programme develop as the season progresses.

☘️ WELL DONE CONOR!!! ☘️

Good job!

And now Adam Hagara, my fellow-countryman (alongside Nicole Rajicova).

He is BY FAR the youngest competitor here - born in 2006.
If anyone interesting, we have some 2003 here (Dias JIRENBAYEV, Mark KONDRATIUK) but no 2004 or 2005.
So he is 3 years younger than any other man here.

Just for fun, the next skater in the order, the oldest one, doctor Valtter Virtanen - could be his father. He is 1987.

Oops I just realised... You should have posted four leaf clovers for Connor! 🍀🍀:)

True, four leafed clovers might have been better for bringing luck. But I went for Shamrocks for him being Irish.

(Since we got a wider ranger of emoticons, for the Irish skaters, I have always substituted my normal :cheer: with ☘️ in my good luck and well done messages).

Wow. 😲

I wonder how many of the skaters in the Pairs competition later are young enough to be Zoe Jones' children...

Sorry for the off-topic, but you have to take you hat of to her at every opportunity! She's amazing!

Hm, that was a bit raw in parts, but he seems to be quite a dynamic young man. With good coaching it will be interesting to see how he develops.

Australia just pulled off a wickedly clutch run chase we had no right doing in the women's cricket. Here's hoping that's an omen for later!

Oof, that was rough. You can always pick the ones who are really juniors. But there's still loads of potential.

Ooooooh, Adam. solid jump but this second spin... He sucked it than continued in the second half of spin, so he lost two spins, because last one doesn't count I think...
