I know this is a fanfest and I should eb only postive here, but I'm unable to not mention that I am really angry at the judges. Maybe I can accept the (!) at Flip, but the time violation and the whole score is absurd. With practically clean jumps, 3A, lvl 4 across the program and good presentation this is beyond my understanding.

Why would you remind me of what I had repressed forgotten
But the important thing is Anna just kept her head down, learned, constantly improved and is now the reigning world champion. If Sofia takes the correct lessons from this I see no limits to her future.

Her PCS are a joke. She’s the best junior skater with regards to PCS by far, and receives PCS some 7 points less than some skaters from that other JGP stage.

Anyways, a fabulous skate with 3A and 3 quads all landed, only minor mistakes on landings. Pretty insane considering she just added 4S, and she never even fell once in both extremely high risk SP and FS.

Congrats to Sonya on another gold!

She was smiling so much throughout this program especially as she landed the 4S and the second 4T combo which made me smile too while watching!

The scoring... well. For me, this was again better than her previous competition (and technically it was superior too, no hands down today), but it is what it is. Onwards and upwards to Supersonic!

Yet for years now they have looked to squeeze the Russinas at the beginning of the season. Remember 2 years ago with the senior GPs?

I have thought SA's scores were too low for a year or so. I figured it had to do where they don't want to give her bigger scores than the senior Russian ladies and then people will say we need to see this girl now when they're trying to raise the damn age limit. We all know she compete with everyone. I just hope Sonia doesn't get bored in juniors. I also hope she doesn't know that Tara Lipinski won senior worlds at 14 freaking years old.

Yes. A few years ago having a 7 triple program was considered hard.
Not only does Sonic do 7 triples (one of which is a 3A), she adds another 3 quads on top of that.
