I still think 'Don't Stop Me Now' is the right music for Matvei. It fits Kovalev who is so energetic and go getting. Matvei is such a fine mover - Queen could be an SP option, though.

Petr did well, he did fall from his 2 opening quads but landed his 3rd one which was 4S-2t-2lo as well as 3A, 3A-3T lastly he did a 3lz-3lo combo but had to put his hand down to save it. Far better than COR!

Not bad from Misha fell on the 4S but that was his only big mistake. He had to fight for the 3A combo and stepped out of the second 4T but other than that great job from him! His 4T-3T was so nice as well as his last 3A!

I'm happy with the first six, just wishing that Matvei would be a bit further up.

Oh dear, what happened to my poor Kolya Loginov? The youtube stream is already blocked, but from the protocols I don't think I want to watch anyway.... I've never seen a downgraded 1A before.

But he got level 4 on all of his spins, so a good fight after what appears to have been a nightmare skate.
