Johnny Weir's Foot Problems

I feel exactly same way as Treasures17. How juvenile it is to laugh at something like that. Pathetic.

im sorry if i offend you...geez

The following info was posted on another board:
Coming from Patti Weir - the problem is the same one that sometimes flares up on him without warning - soreness on the ball of the landing foot. This is the same thing that happened to him at Worlds in Moscow in 2005. The doctors always seem to have various explanations of what causes it, although Patti thinks it is from over-use. She says he is pushing through.

Don't give up yet ... if it is a sesamoid problem, this is the same thing as turf toe that American football players get. Sometimes it's bad ... sometimes not so bad. It hurts like heck from what I understand, but a lot of times an athlete can compete just fine with tape and padding. Hope that's true for Johnny!
