nothing new. "Pre-rotation", "bad combo", "overestimated points" and "too slow". And, of course, the tentacles of Eteri Cthulhu covering the entire Universe. I've already heard all this about Shcherbakova. There is, however, one even more ancient claim - "junior skating". Immediately I remember Adelina Sotnikova ...

If yesterday I said I was totally speechless, what can I say now, after the FS? 
I think I'm still in a kind of trance... I was talking to myself all through the program though and after each beautifully executed jump and element I celebrated just like football fans do after a goal... 
And when she finished I was like, did it really happen, was it real what I just saw??? I was almost in disbelief of my own sanity, 'cause I thought it couldn't have happened, I was just probably dreaming and someone would wake me up instantly or I was having a vision... OK, I'll stop there, I think I've managed to give a sense of how very much happy I am for Kami and how very much I'm thankful to be able to witness (even if not in person) that historic FS in the history of women's figure skating. 
Now it's time for rejoice of course, but not for too long, 'cause the most important competitions are still ahead of us. But if there's something to draw strength from for Kami, it's these two glorious skates at Rostelecom Cup. Go Kami! The world is yours!

Yes, same. But I refuse to let them ruin what is a historic feat by the gorgeous (and HUMBLE) Kamila.
She gave the fans (and general public) plenty of treats today and yesterday, and the naysayers can cry for all I care.

I love her new outfit in the short, it suits her.
Did she win by a comfortable margin?

She won by over 43 points. She owns the SP, FP and overall records now.
And she doubled a triple jump here...

Thanks. She is putting up massive numbers even when she doesn't skate clean. But how can anyone at this level skate completely clean when there are such difficult skating routines to do?
KV really combines a lot of all time all types of great qualities for figure skating.

The distractors have more energy than the Energizer Bunny! But at some point it's like a cat chasing its tail..
People also have to get used to KV's different qualities as a skater and all the record she is breaking. It's shocking to some fans and they have to get their minds adjusted to this.

I'm constantly amazed by what she's capable of doing. This program has grown so much over the last year+, and I fully expect her to keep developing it as the season progresses. The technical stuff is already there, but she is always surprising us with upgrades and improvements and nuances. All the while remaining a sweet and humble girl too, what more could anyone want.

To be honest what I like most about her skating is that she looks like she really enjoys herself on the ice. You can tell she loves it. The skaters I’ve enjoyed the most this year are the ones who really look happy to be performing.
Honestly for all the competition between her and Alysa in juniors (and it’s very clear Kamila is the superior skater) I’ve enjoyed both of them this year for the same reason- you can tell they’re doing exactly what they want to be doing.
I still have a hard time with Bolero due to my dislike of the music but she almost convinces me which is saying a lot! And that snake dress is fire!
