2021-22 Japanese Nationals: Women's FS

Rika also made the podium as a junior and began skating as a Senior as soon as she was age eligible. You don't have to wait if you are better than the top contenders. Although, you might if like Mana the JF doesn't like you.
To be fair, Mana wasn't nearly as good as she is now as a junior. She was one of the top juniors in Japan, but her international results were pretty mediocre. She's been inconsistent this season even, finishing 9th at SCI. So I don't think JSF "doesn't like her" or anything, she's just finally putting all the pieces together this season and has a lot of growing to do.

Ayumi Shibayama why does she have only one hand thingy

Ayumi is so good... I can't wait to see her on the JGP next season. Also, Gypsy Dance from Don Quixote is one of my favourite pieces for skating. That, and Winter, and I'm a sucker for a really really good Turandot.

Good girl, Ayumi!
Held back the performance a bit but that's totally understandable

Aww bless, it looks like Ayumi's a big Zagitova fan.

Wow! What a nice clean program! (I actually like this Quixote better than Zagi's because I didn't like the construction of that one, sue me. I never got past all of the jumps being in the second half, good strategy as it was.)

Ayumi is so adorable. I take it she didn't go for the 4T? Or is she not the one who does 4T?
Not her, Rion the last in this group
Ayumi has attempted the 3A in competition but none successful yet

I thought that was really good! she seems to channel the music well, and nice and clean. a name to look out for :D
