Thank you 16Olympics for your lovely story of your dogs!

I have decided. If the situation is settled, I wanna go to WC in France this March. I definitely want to see his programs of this season, and I wanna wish his title !. Originally moving between Euro is easy, but now restriction is there. I am not sure about tickets, brabrabra,,, but if everything goes well, I will go!
You're so welcome. I hope the stars align and you can go to Worlds. That would be so awesome. If Shoma continues for the next few years I hope we all get a chance to see him perform.

The gala was painful to watch. Ideally, Shoma would take Demizu-san to Switzerland to train with Stephane until the Olympics. In my dreams He would get an exemption for a visa and train with Deniss and Stephane in Champery. There are physios in SUI if Demi can't go. Their restrictions are the same as he has in Japan. The traveling is concerning though but I can't imagine how he trains without his coach leading into the Olympics. Hopefully they can find a way for the situation to be ideal for them both.

I think Shoma will continue to skate over the next few years. He said himself in an article recently that he wants to skate for as long as possible. Just because he hurt his ankle now doesn’t mean it will stop him. He has been through so much and overcame so much in the past. He doesn’t strike me as someone who would want to give up. He truly is strong even if he doesn’t always see it. He is going to do well because he’s himself.

He injured his ankle twice shortly before winning 2019 4CC. He'll push through.

Some Japanese fans want him to go to Mei-Fes as commentator alongside Machiko-sensei! If this happens, maybe we’ll see more of their current bond as former coach-student and we’ll hear him complimenting his fellow skaters as well. Ah, but this is all wishful thinking of course. Whatever he chooses to do during his short rest time, I shall support him! Hope his ankle heals well asap.

^^^Maybe for the next draw they should all wear shorts and t-shirts! :bang: Thx for the translations. I am assuming he will stay in Japan until it is time for the Olys. Too hard to travel with the Covid restrictions.
That's what I'm getting from Shoma's comments, that although he hasn't made a final decision yet, it's highly likely he'll stay in Japan due to the difficulty of traveling to Switzerland at this time. He also says something like he wants to heal quickly, get back to practice as soon as possible, and show his best condition at the Olympics. On a lighter note, he says his dogs make him feel more human. Sorry for the delay, I'll try go get a more professional translation of these comments out as soon as I can. 🙇‍♀️

I really want to go to Worlds too. I went in '16, '17, and '18 and loved it so much. Was supposed to go in 2020, but we know what happened there, and 2021 no audience. So, it's time to go again. 2022 France and 2023 Japan!

You were talking about dogs -- when I would drive to the dog park with my friend who had 3 dogs, we would be about 3 blocks from the park and they would start whimpering and howling and carrying on. They could smell that they were near the park and got so excited. Sorry for the :ot:

I'm thinking about doing the same thing! I already saw Shoma in Las Vegas, but you can never have too much Shoma! 😆 I'm pretty sure Shoma will be at Worlds even if he wins an Olympic medal again. However, I've never been to Europe before and I don't know any French. I'll see how much I can learn before I go there. 😆 I'll keep an eye on the news and travel restrictions and see if I can plan something next year. I might only be there for one day, but it would still be cool to see a World Championships for the first time. 😊
Yeees. As long as Shoma stays healthy, he never skips a competition and delivers full strength. And I love his programs both. Not just FP, but SP by Miyaken is also fantastic. When it is completed, it will be insane! And his costumes! What a nice sense. Definitely the best dresser prize in me! Let's pray things go well, including your travel! Even if only one day, it would be special!

Helsinki 2017 was lovely memory. I cannot believe 5 years have passed! Shoma got silver. Helsinki city was beautiful. 2020 was painful... It was suddenly. Considering that time, having sports events like nowadays shows the progress of the world!
I did not know 2023 World is in Japan! Oh, next year finally I and my husband will go back to Japan. If overseas spectators are recovered and you can come, I shall host you! The place is Saitma Super Arena, the same as this time Nationals! So fantastic! But tickets will be difficult in Japan, so overseas sports are much easier to take!

Thank you for dogs talk! I did not at all know the ability of dogs! I have got an interest in dogs! And now one of Shoma's hobbies is 'the dogs'.!

Have you noticed the petbowls were by Le Creuset?

I think he has got pajamas from fans as presents! In Japanese ice shows, present boxes are set, or you can give presents directly at finale. Popular skaters get several boxes at 1 show. Homewear is a popular present, so he wears in youtube (Not just pajamas, but also other items!)

It seems almost all the skaters I follow are pet and especially dog lovers, well Shoma clearly has a big heart so no surprise.

I'm looking to the next few months and how he's going to be able to train for OG/WC knowing that he said he plans to continue. I said a few months ago when he said he wants to continue b/c he is really having fun while skating that I thought he might have another Olympics in him. We'll see.

I watched his 2019 4CC FS the other day and that gave the same vibes with the ankle injury.

Yes, the pups are definitely valued members of the Uno household. They bring a lot of joy to Shoma and in return, we get to see the happiness in all the family members. Dogs are the best! I'm allergic to cats and I think they're gorgeous creatures but I'm glad the family went for a dog and then got 3!

Haha. As long as the 'topic' can be related to Shoma's dogs, no problem!

Hope you get your wish to go to 2022 and 2023 World's!

I didn't notice, but hey, only the best for these 3! They need a whole closet to store all the puppy sweaters! And maybe Shoma has as many pajamas as he does Diesel shirts! (All presents from fans) Let's see, he has shark pajamas, sleep...sleep...sleep, plaid, HUGE pajamas that are 2 sizes too big, pandas, one fan gave him and 🌳 matching pajamas, any others? (Sounds like a name the pajamas contest) He always received so many gifts at the PIW ice shows!

This thread has some info about tickets. Are you in Europe?

That's the FIRST thing I noticed! Guess these are only available in Asia, as I've only found links from Japan, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia. ebay has them for $70 each, yikes lol.

I just had a look. We do have Le Creuset in the UK but I guess the bowls shown in the video are not available over here. Like Arriba says, only the best for the Uno household! 🍰🥇🐩

Not only Le Creuset but Le Creuset Pet! Totally in favor of this type of bowl as it's high up off the floor which is the best angle for dogs to eat their food. The dresses/shirt for Baron are beautiful. I look forward to seeing what they wear for New Year's and of course the Olympics.
