Jason Brown

HE DID IT!! HE'S GOING TO BEIJING!! I'M f**king SOBBING!!
I have been constantly reloading since 5:30 here, since I forgot about the time difference. I have been depressed all day since the end of Men's. I am now so happy, crying and thankful. USFS did the right thing. I am going to send them a donation!! I wish I was there to see it. The right skater, the best all around skater in the world, is going to the Olympics! GO JASON!!!!!

He really is the best SKATER in the world! Well deserved. Poor thing must have been so sad and anxious thinking he might not make it. My heart!

And thank YOU fellow Jason fans. Much appreciate you helping me through this. I've feel like I've been through the wringer.

(really may need to address how invested I am ... because I seemed overly distraught and anxious for someone that is not competing. Can't imagine how the skaters handle it).

I think all Jasonites were on our last nerve waiting for this announcement.

Funny story: Spousal Unit, who knows of my fandom, but does not know a thing about skating, asked me around 6:

Is everything OK with the cats? Is that fruit all you're having for your meal? Why did you go out for a walk at 5 pm in the dark and the freezing rain, your exercise isn't that important, is it? He loves me, but how could he understand?

My blood pressure is restored, sanity reigns, and now get yourself into a bubble Jason!

As a director and choreographer, I can tell you that that makes total sense. I am WAY more nervous when I am a spectator than when I'm on stage myself.

I know exactly how you feel! I was in the depths of despair but couldn't give in to hopelessness. I just waited and hoped.

Don't be afraid of the other thread.

This lovely tribute by @natsulian is there, for example:

As a pianist, same. I'd be less nervous performing/competing something that's not ready yet in front of a thousand people than watching anyone else perform/compete, no matter how calm/consistent they are.
