Anastasia and Aleksandr did a brilliant job! Foot perfect, excellent technically, and with their wonderful, unique moves. I love the arabesque spirals they do where Anastasia is supported by Aleksandr's free leg - those must take perfect balance and strength. Their lifts are fantastic as well. They are so enjoyable to watch, and I love their huge smiles at the end of the skate when he lifts her up. It's a statement of confidence, and it works. And congratulations to them! Worlds, Nationals, and now Euros!
well... if you put a hand is because you lost balance in your skates or you put a hand in the ice because you are ballance? ... so is a fall... but for some reason in this competition the judges decide not penalize them not in the SP or in the LP ....
Well done M/G, the other Russians threw down the gauntlet but they responded. Everything done so well. They so rarely make mistake, bar Russian Nationals.
Eurosport are saying the TES to M/G, PCS to T/M and overall victory to M/G.

B/K rose above the sp mistakes to skate beautifully.
Then ... well, I've never seen T/M skate so well.
And the tip of the top, M/G.
They are smoother and more graceful with that music every time out. I am so thrilled. They're my babies.

Look into the rules. Hand on the ice is an error different from a fall. Nevertheless, sorry this is a time to cheer three magnificent pairs, not to argue about narrow matters.

I wonder if the judges at the Olympics will be forgiving as they were here. Teams with mistakes and world records.
Also, this wasn’t the best M/G skated this, but after T/M, what score would the judges even give them?

All three Russian pairs really brought it in the FS! One of the strongest top 3 FS ever.
Congrats to M/G - as much as I have a soft spot for Sui/Han having the record, the 3S+3S did it for me in terms of earning that.
LMAO at T/M getting a PB PCS (76.11) by over 2 points with a glaring error. Eteri, gurl, you tried it!!!
Can't wait to see the +GOE for a SBS jump that landed on the wrong edge, had a step out and both hands down.... it's okay though, they did crossovers after so really, we can still say the jump was 'effortless'.
