Actually Japan won yesterday's men's event but the U.S. has two so they beat them thereI don't want you to eat your socks, And it COULD happen, But only If Karen Chen comes in dead last to Kaori's 2nd,
And Chock and Bates come in third behind the Russians and Canadians, Any other scenarios and the US wins,
Either by points or on a tie breaker since Japan has no 1st places yet
I vote for FB/S! Now that they changed their FD music, they have my full supportCanada should send Lajoie and Lagha and mix things up
After Karen and Vince and Alexa, I dont want to jinx anyone....Good news is that dance is next. And we're definitely better in dance.
It looks like under current rules they shoudl not be getting above 8.75 in PE and TN, yet they're both over 9. Whey even bother having rules and judges at all???Please see my post in the IJS reform thread, with at least 1 major error there should be no PCS marks over 9, M/G (whom I do like) have 4 of 5 over 9
There wouldn´t have been any harm for Russia, if T/M or B/K have skated in pairs. I hope that decision won´t hurt M/G in the individual event.Jeez, I'm really questioning the decision to have M/G do both segments...would not want to skate both if I were a top contender for the main event.
Oh my God!!! Thank God everyone is ok.They had a mishap in one of the lifts. It was going well, but had to exit early and messily.
Still he doesn't have to be a complete a-hole, it's nasty and there's no reason for it.he was a pairs skater.. he is very knowledgeable seriously... you don't have to agree with him. That death spiral position is not making many friends you know
I knew it would be extremely close!
as long as japan is getting a 6 in danceAfter Karen and Vince and Alexa, I dont want to jinx anyone....
he also mentioned how hard it is... as i said in the original post. He said it is extremely difficult, and very rarely used.Still he doesn't have to be a complete a-hole, it's nasty and there's no reason for it.
Every other commentator mentioned how difficult it is to do. How dare he trash P/J for doing the hardest content they can.
And I don't care to make friends with those who think that sort of commentary is amusing or acceptable.
Jeez, I'm really questioning the decision to have M/G do both segments...would not want to skate both if I were a top contender for the main event.
I am so thankful the individual pairs event is the last of the individual events to give them more recovery time. When they got from the ice, he was holding his arm. I hope it´s nothing serious. He already has this injury on his left wrist.

I watched the replay and he looked a bit off today. His jumps, spins, and spirals are not like usualOh boy, I´m so sad right now. I never saw anything like that from M/G. I really hope they are ok. But Sasha looked totally in shock in the kiss and cry.
Well the SP was actually a good result for them. They were only 0.2 points behind S/H. At the world championships it were 4 points.Same here. They were beaten by Sui/Han in the short and then had struggles and a fall on a lift. Their momentum has effectively been stalled now, providing a huge window for Sui/Han to step through with the gold.
I thought it was a good decision. The pairs event is last and given their past results, they deserve to skate both segments if they want to.Jeez, I'm really questioning the decision to have M/G do both segments...would not want to skate both if I were a top contender for the main event.
