I did cut my medication when there was no such dose tablet available. My friend even brought a special cutter from pharmacyIf you were using this type of medicine for treatment, you would have been advised by your doctor not to crush it, cut it, or divide it in any other way as then it is losing its therapeutic effect and I assume, achieving this effect would be the main reason for you to take it in the first place. So you would not have done it as you'd have no reason to.
if my experience is any guide, most of the time went into defining scope to everyone’s agreement, then establishing and testing jurisdiction, because the violation occurred in a national comp and was reported at this time with an additional complication. Basically, their conclusion was that the call belonged to Rusada, they made it, and that, yes, the actual violation will have to be processed later. The legalities didn’t allow them pull Valieva off. That’s like six of those seven hours, probably. And another hour of swearing, and discussing the risk to credibility. It pretty much went like this : "Hello, How are things, We heard you have a problem?" Let's talk about it in a few weeks... "
They also could have made a bold call... but it takes balls to do that.if my experience is any guide, most of the time went into defining scope to everyone’s agreement, then establishing and testing jurisdiction, because the violation occurred in a national comp and was reported at this time with an additional complication. Possibly Grandpa watches the news and thought "Wait, isn't that the medication I'm taking, and I just saw her....". And then told Kamila? Just as likely, and not all that uncanny either. So maybe it is just you, again.Did anyone else, of is it just me again, find it uncanny that a 15 year old knows what drugs her grandpa is taking ?
Well, there is definition of doping that ppl use and there is WADA definition of doping, from WADA Code. And they are not the same.It feels like this has to be explained at least once every two pages in this thread.![]()
So from WADA definition K. Costner is a doper too. (2.11)ARTICLE 1
DEFINITION OF DOPING
Doping is defined as the occurrence of one or more of the antidoping rule violations set forth in Article 2.1 through Article 2.11 of the Code.
Normally, you wouldn’t do a rushed call that can be reasonably contested. And in this case, it was likely determined, that it would have been. They have a recourse of a leisurely proceedings when nobody could say that the Russians didn’t have a fair hearing, for the minor inconvenience of stripping medals and fed-exting them later. Medals, that IOC doesn’t intend to award in the first place. Swift justice is nice, but water-tight case and no rush is nicer. They also could have made a bold call... but it takes balls to do that.
From WADA point of view it is not exactly true, it's much moreThat doesn't matter.
"Doping" is ingesting a banned substance.
I was reading this thread, unregistered. However, I felt the need to register to state a few facts with regard to Trimetazidine.
It is available in various forms:
Tablet with enteric coating: This will only start working in you intestines, and that would take a few hours. Used chronically as a preventative medication. Probability of contamination non-existent unless crushed beforehand.
Sustained release / slow release: Starts working earlier but gives a sustained release. Used as a preventative medication. Probability of contamination very low because it consists of coated granules in a solid tablet or capsule format.
Immediate release form: As a preventative medicine, this has to be taken three times daily. You can also place it under the tongue for almost instant relieve. It gets in your saliva when swallowed, more so when placed under the tongue. It can contaminate your hands too.
Nasal spray / Oral spray: Gives the fastest relive, it gets in your blood very quickly. Formulated for rapid relieve. Gets in your saliva. Contaminates the air when the spray is primed, can be inhaled by a bystander.
The fact that rapid relieve forms exist, implies that a single dose can have a therapeutic effect. Relieve is not only by chronic use.
I actually remember you!Well, I think I was inactive like for 3 years in a row on this forum actually, lol.![]()

Sakamoto was asked if Valieva should have been allowed to skate the individual event. She said yes. Even when it comes to elegance and manners, Sakamoto and Shcherbakova are a class above the field.
