I am glad he will skate in a show. Hopefully, we’ll see new music in his interpretation. 🙏 Also, hope he continues with the tour, if they are touring. I normally don’t follow the shows.

Just saw that he will be reprising Juno. Ah, well. I hoped, but I guess their focus is on the next season and quads. He is not the one for improv, but I hope they will start working in the direction of variety.

Edit: and Ilya Averbukh mentioned that he was talking with Davydenko about working with Mozalev. So, potentially new choreo direction?

I would be pretty happy with this. He created Yulia's SL and Medvedeva's River Flows in You which I really liked. More recently Nureyev and S/B's Moulin Rouge! I think it would be nice for Andrei to get a new gala program that isn't a former SP, but we'll see.

This is very interesting information, I haven't heard about it before. Can you please tell me where he said this?
Averbukh has recently received many messages on Telegram and VKontakte with calls to invite Andrei to the show and listing his merits. Perhaps this made Ilya look at Andrei in a new way :)

The fact is that just yesterday Averbukh announced that he was starting a coaching career and would train dance couples. Is this a hint that Mozalev is going to go into an ice dance? 😅 yayyyy

UPD: I found this interview, indeed, Averbukh said that Davydenko called him with an offer of cooperation just yesterday. It should be a very interesting project, the most famous choreographer will work with the most promising young figure skater. I think that they will talk about setting the program for the new season, FS or SP. If they both work at 110%, the program should become a masterpiece.

I also hope that this maneuver will strengthen Andrei's reputation in the eyes of the judges, no one will be able to give low points to the program that Averbukh created.

It was during the Eu, where Lambiel was understandably euphoric about Vasiljievs’ success. He later said he didn’t say anything along the lines, so I would rather let the sleeping dogs rest. But overall, I think, Mozalev’s is a studious, hard-working talent, and Lambiel wants the strongly-expressed naturals in dance, and has the most success with them.

@Mariott yup, I also would be super-excited to see Mozalev’s cooperation with a different choreographer

That's right, he presented "Juno and Avos" in the first act and his SP of this season in the second act. The second skate was not included in the broadcast, the first skate was very beautiful and inspired, 4S and 3Lo and two long spread eagles were performed. Andrei feels very confident in this program. Apparently, he was happy tonight.

UPD: The viewers of the show said that Andrei also skated his short program in the second act very confidently, but I can't say more, there is no video at the moment :)

I am going to start sacrificing to the rink monsters that Davydenko is right and when Mozalev gets it, he gets it, so we’ll be seeing 4S with the same success rate as 4T…
 
There is not very good quality fancam here and Andrei's second performance was not included in the broadcast, but you can see his first performance with "Juno". Andrei also appears during the final exit of all athletes.



In the middle of Andrei's skating, the operator takes the phone away in an impolite manner and focuses on Sasha Trusova, who is warming up behind the side. However, this moment can also be considered valuable evidence, because we can see how closely Eteri Tutberidze and her assistants are watching Andrei's skate.

There is also another one "fans caught me in the lobby of the hotel" photo in a new sweatshirt with a chilling picture. Today he wear in green: yay, Andrei has more than one sweatshirt :biggrin: This is significantly different from the situation of last season, when he showed the same black hoodie at all photo shoots with fans, in which Nugumanova also posed later :LOL:

The color scheme of his clothes has varied somewhat since last season, last summer he wore light blue, recently gave an interview in a pale peach sweatshirt :LOL:

God bless Alina Zagitova and her fans who follow her to all galas and record everything. Thanks to them, we have a video of Andrei's skates.
He fell off the quad in SP, but even that didn't spoil the impression. He was unspeakably beautiful. I hope that Eteri will continue to cooperate with him in the show, such beauty needs to be shown to the world :love2:

Wow, this was actually a nice show, and Mozalev fit in really well on a small cozy rink and with Kolyada. He’s really following the music in this one, and I liked how he flipped from spread eagle into a jump. Too bad he fell, but hurray for trolling us with all these spread eagles, and a really strong connection to music. You could see that he picked it himself, he really seems to like it. I hope he keeps working in that vein and for the rest to fall into place. And a new exhibition number 🙏🤞🍀

I know how questionable Tutberidze’s team is, but from all the big schools, their is the natural fit with Davydenko’s team and with how Mozalev trains.

This is a photo from an interview after open skating in Chelyabinsk in September 2021. He looks like a Formula 1 pilot with a helmet in his hands :)A very beautiful photo like on the cover of a magazine. And Andrei then greatly upset me with his skating :(

In September Rusnats bronze and a ticket to the European Championship and Olympic Games - all this seemed so unrealistic for him. Nobody could believe it.

heh, he does look like a racer here. :) The course Mozalev charts is not for the weak of heart, that's for sure.

Lol, both of you are right :biggrin: The Funsector`s guys threw pandas on the ice to Andrei in this season with a hint "You must go to Beijing"! :hap10:
