Shomavirus is incurable. And extremely contagious, too.I wonder if my Shoma addiction will ever become more mangeable, or am I doomed for rest of my life??![]()
If the coreographer is Stephane, he might really keep skating in suitA few more bits of the program. I must say it’s looking very promising, can’t wait to see how this will evolve. He looks so good in that suit, I kind of want him to keep this costume idea

Today he jumped 4F, 4T, 3A in the sp. And 4T3T in the finale

No, it's totally legal, but I think it can get a bit uncomfortable? Shoma's isn't a full-on suit here so I'm no sure what it's like but usually the pants are kind of tight and restricting and there are lots of flappy bits so I wouldn't be surprised to see him have a different costume for competition. Especially since this program is so new it wouldn't shock me if he just kind of threw something together for hereIf the coreographer is Stephane, he might really keep skating in suitIs skating in suit in official competitions against the rules?

Thanks for your answer. I'd like to see him skating in a more casual costume though... Anyway, I'm sure he'll be wonderful as alwaysNo, it's totally legal, but I think it can get a bit uncomfortable? I think - and am afraid - that there won't be a better SP than Oboe. The SP from this year's world championships could be the best SP ever, being carried out perfectly as it was and containing such elaborate positions referring to Renaissance sculpture, a true masterpiece and piece of art on ice.A few more bits of the program. Oboe was really something, isn't it? I'm glad it was skated to perfection at the very end when it mattered the most. You just can't help but yield to its sheer perfection. It was really a program that only Shoma can skate, in my opinion.I think - and am afraid - that there won't be a better SP than Oboe. I've always thought that nothing will ever come close to Ladies in lavender: to its youthful innocence and profound melancholic longing. And yet there came Oboe - a true masterpiece of mature Shoma. I would not count out the possibility of us seeing something really special in the later stages of his career, too -- a masterpiece of "late Shoma", if you will.I think - and am afraid - that there won't be a better SP than Oboe. Something darker, simpler, more nuanced, more complex interpretation-wise? His "Requiem" or "Die Zauberflöte", his "Das Lied von der Erde", his Quartet no. 15, his "Symphony no. 9"? We'll see.
Ok. I'll let Oboe loose, let surprise myself by the SPs to come, open my mind to new horizons.I've always thought that nothing will ever come close to Ladies in lavender: to its youthful innocence and profound melancholic longing. Sorry for this musical digression. I'll go take my pills, it's about time.![]()
