Sho "test driving" his new boots! Looking good. Straining to hear the music in the background. Is it his new Coach Fluffy EX?! Love that we're seeing some different things from him -- resurrecting his donut spin yesterday, Super fast awesome twizzles, Who put the sizzle in those twizzles?! Wow! 3A-3A, don't know if I've seen him do that before! Jumps looking awesome. 3A, 4T-3T, 4F, 4S, 4Lo, 3A-3A. :points: The new lavender yoga mat looks beautiful!!!

oh man, I would love a World Champion t-shirt. 😎 And I need to own more sweatpants anyway. But I buy most of my clothes at thrift stores, so that's really :eek2: ...besides, I just spent a ton on shipping for my first kpop album 😅

Those World Champion shirts are cool. Definitely not thrift shop prices. Between that and the shipping -- yikes!

I think I'm going with ShoGravity, but I'm still laughing at all the possibilities that people were posting when Sho first debuted the program at PIW. We had: Shovity, Shomavity, ShoGravity, Sholevity, GrUNOvity, Groma. There were others too, but I forget what they were! Sho fans certainly are creative! :laugh2:
 
I don't think we have ever seen a 3A3A sequence from Shoma! Whew, the distance and running edge... I think he's still working on it but it would be interesting to see if it makes it to his layout- doing 3A3A together means he can't spread the 2 3As to 2 jumping passes though.

There was another re-broadcast of Stars on Ice yesterday, and we have some Shoma gems:

Talking about his injury before Japanese Nationals, and his physical state when doing Stars on Ice (he simplified his jump layout to 3Lo - 2A - 3Lo for the Stars on Ice Tokyo performances). It's good to see he's pacing himself!

 
Lots of interesting comments in Sho's new NOW VOICE. Translations are SOOOO appreciated...Interesting that he likes Junwhan Cha's programs a lot. Just out of curiosity, I double checked and saw that all of Cha's competitive programs are choreographed by Shae Lynne Bourne or David Wilson.

Shoma will be part of the Friends on Ice show (FOI) from August 26 - 28, 2022.

Also skating in the show are Shizuka Arakawa, Takeshi Honda, Akiko Suzuki, Miki Ando, Satoko Miyahara, Jason Brown, Jeremy Abbott and........... Stephane Lambiel. Will we see another collaboration from Shoma and Stephane in the future? Can't wait!

It would be awesome seeing those two skating twogether! Stephane is my favourite among the retired skaters 🤩 and Shoma... well, is Shoma 😍

Oh, this gives me the perfect opening to post Sho and Stephane skating Winter together, just in case people haven't seen it. I would love to see them do another collaboration!!! I need a new one, since I've now watched this one 1,000 times! :biggrin:

It's just an outfit from his active time as a competitive skater. So, his fans in the audience recognize it.

I found it extra enjoyable re-watching the collab after reading that :)

Shoma said while he was doing his part, he had been worrying about whether Stephane would get dressed in time to come in at the right time:laugh2: Poor Shoma!

Yes, he won a couple of medals in that costume, still I don't understand using it in Winter 😅 Anyway, the collaboration was beautiful.
Someone online wrote that seeing Shoma skating side by side with Stephane was a disadvantage for him, because it would show the technical and artistical gap between them... but I think that's not true: they have differenti styles, yes, but both of them have amazing skating skills and feel the music like no one else.
