I like this program for Gleb. However, it clearly needs a lot of work. He didn't attempt his signature +3Lo combo.

Masha Gordeeva kind of feels like a case of Sofia Samodelkina mixed with Veronika Zhilina to me - And I'm not sure if that's a good or bad sign 😅

So, Lyuba's plan for this season is a 2x 3A + 4Lo-Free skate...
I'm not sure that's wise, she struggled with even just one or two 3As last season. If the 4Lo works out better (and from this attempt, I would almost say it does), they should switch out one of the 3As for it instead of adding it on top.

Wow...did Masha M just win this thing?

Dang, you go girl!

And now I'm off to bed because I have work tomorrow although I do get to go in late because I'm staying late.

And a bronze for Nika! I hope this gives her confidence a boost. :)

Damn, these ordinals are looking very alike to the usual ordinals for (junior) men :eek2:This event has been another lesson in why a cleaner skate with less difficult content often leads to a higher placement.

And Nika does just make the podium. Really happy for Masha Mazur and Liza Kulikova as well. ☺️❤️ Also, Milana must be just about the youngest skater here (she was born on the 29th of June 2010), and managed to place fourth, what a great success for her as well.
