Some fun on the ice:

Look who's there in the left corner 😁

Watching Shombardia this weekend, I couldn't help but remember Sho's wonderful competitions there and all the wonderful photos that came out of that event. Love this one of him between the two tall trees. :laugh2: And that BEAUTIFUL costume. I don't think he ever wore it again.

Did you see that Blonde Lady Arriba while watching😂😂. Lots of good memories of Shombardia!
I did!!!! I just got home now and was watching Kaori, that was the first thing I looked for was the Blonde! She is in mourning because Shoma hasn't been there for a few years now! I still remember laughing when I saw her "in person" in Milan at Worlds!

Don't know if this belongs in here, and it's not part of Shoma's figure skating, but since it can be found in Japanese media, here it is:

Does anyone know who the two ladies who look like twins are? I see them at a LOT of European skating events. They dress alike and they look like twins and are SUPER fans!

Well, their announcement is factually incorrect as it lists him as the 2022 silver medalist. So much for media reports.

The French sisters! I don't know their names, but I met them in Milan and saw them at Skate Canada too. They were at Worlds last March, but I didn't manage to speak to them. I just saw a photo of them on Twitter holding a Kaori banner, wearing their pink sweatshirts.. They ARE super fans and are also super nice!

I think this is who you are referring to. There was a close photo but I can't find it.

Yes, that's them! Thank you. I see them often and haven't seen any comments about them.I saw their Kaori banner the other day. Thanks for the info!

I think this does belong here, because Shoma did publish an official announcement in his official Website https://shoma-uno.com/ about his relationship with Marin. Marin then linked to his official Website in her IG story, so both sides have confirmed. Translation of his announcement and a little bit of news update based on that:

As someone who has followed Shoma for a few years now, this confirmation is not surprising to me, although it's unexpected that he confirms it in such a straightforward and official way, possibly motivated by the hate towards Marin after they got photographed together during a private date in a coffeeshop a few days ago. But again, this is Shoma- he always tries to be as straightforward and honest as possible.

I have always wished both Shoma and Marin happiness and it doesn't change- I'm happy Shoma has someone precious who he clearly cares very much about, that he can spend good time together and share good things in his life with.

And while this is admittedly very weird as someone who doesn't know him and he will never know me as a fan... I'm proud of him.
He has grown so much.

Time to go to Switzerland. I can't help but feel sorry for Emma-chan! She will miss Shoma so much, and I'm sure Toro will miss Tree too! Safe travels, and have a good training session in Switzerland. Counting the days until Japan Open (Oct. 8)

I think they match each other well. She seems to have a lot of fire, good for Shoma. All the best for them!

Shoma/Marin news wasn't surprising to me either, but I definitely did not expect them to announce it officially. It's a bit sad if they felt they were forced to do it after the paparazzi photos and rumors. But I sincerely hope they'll be happy and that they can breathe a bit more easier now! Also I hope the media will let them be.

Congratulations to them both ❤️ I wish them all the best!
