2022-23 Cup of Russia - Stage 1 - Moscow

I'm sorry but I must say I was appalled by Yulia's attitude. It was truly awful. The poor little girl was almost crying and she turned her back to her with such a disdain it was really hard to watch. Doesn't matter how much of a perfectionist you are, what your expectations are, your job as a coach when you're at the rinkside in a competition is to emotionally support your skater. And this is not even about a coach, any person in that situation would have simply hugged that little girl, who was clearly very upset. They would not have made her feel even worst. Yulia was increadibly heartless and her behaviour was a big disappointement. :palmf:

Sorry about the long post but I saw the whole video in another thread and was strongly upset by her attitude, to the point where I believe it really needs to be called out
There is a time and place to be the tough coach, but it should be reserved for Senior level. It isn't like she had a meltdown on the ice, she missed one element. Urmanov doesn't have a stable of stars, but I love how supportive and warm he is with his junior girls. Yulia trained with him, and I wish she would channel him, rather than Eteri.

Why is it 5 and 7?
Easy answer for your question: because I’m an idiot who can’t do basic math.

I can also use the excuse that I am of Mediterranean descent so my brain isn’t wired to work before 3pm so that is why I put the dividing line in the wrong place.

But we can still go with I’m an idiot even after all that. Haha

Thanks, I’ve corrected it. The numbers between 1 and 12 directly in the middle are 6 and 7. You learn something new every day. Haha

My favourite introduction music! I hope I'll be back there asap - I'm actually welling up, feeling really 'home' sick.
