Noël-Antoine Pierre of France has teamed up with Sasha Farkhoutdinov/Fakhroudinov (there are differing spelling of her last name online, not sure which is correct.)
I've seen Sasha's last name spelled most often as: Fakhroutdinov. Her father is a former international ice dancer who coaches or coached in the U.S. I'm happy for Sasha that she found a new partner. Best wishes to Sasha & N-A Pierre on their new pairing!

I feel bad that I haven't really heard of him before, but I naturally do wish him all the best for the future!

Well that is great news! They sound evenly matched as far as their approach to skating - looking forward to seeing them compete. Wondering when that opportunity will be. Nationals?
@elhenry just saw your post in US Pairs thread that they'll be competing in Austria. Perhaps the IceChallenge in Graz, which I think is part of the Challenger series for Women, Men, and Dance but a non Challenger for pairs?

Just got curious, I could find entries for the non Challenger part but only junior entries, no senior pairs at all. Very weird. Maybe they just forgot to include them or they ran out of post-its.

That was a complete guess about a Challenger for Ellie and Danny, because Isabella Flores‘ mother said “See you in Austria”. Then again, as far I know, Isabella and her partner are not going to Graz.

so maybe everyone is going to Austria for another reason?

I felt Nobunari's un-retirement deserved a category of its own. I'd better make 'Comebacks' a default part of these threads when I make them. Not a lot of entries in this one for sure, but they're always a pleasant surprise ^ ^

Wow Nobunari Oda coming out of retirement is a pleasant surprise! I know he's competed in the Japan Open, and my understanding is he's done well there with people saying he could still be competitive today so perhaps I shouldn't be surprised. :) It will be interesting to see how he stacks up against Japan's competitive men's field.
