I really start to miss the Uno household when there are no videos. And now we see ANOTHER new pair of pajamas. Dinosaurs this time! Could this possibly be a gift from Skate Canada? Love the puppy pile. Little Pam is so tiny!

Poor Sho! Shrunk a centimeter and aged 20 years over night! LOL.
I saw this just a little while ago too! Shoma may seem like an old soul sometimes, but he's not older than I am, lol!

I got nervous right away when I saw him lying on the floor and getting massage from Demi-san. Please Sho, don't overdo it! He has been practicing very hard lately. I know he really wants to be ready for NHK. Sigh. After all, he is old man Shoma.
To cheer us up a little bit, I hope someone will give him these new pajamas! Could it be possible they were inspired by the 4 moffs (plus Pam)? The ad says the items went on sale yesteday.

I had a dream about Shoma having a bad fall on the ice last night... I came here hoping to find reassurance that he wasn't actually hurt, that it was just a dream, but it turns out he really is hurt...Shoma seems to have some back pain
(Not in the same way I thought he was hurt in the dream, but still...)Hopefully he just needs more rest, healing massages, and quality time with his poodles.

Maybe going to an onsen would help with the back? Just a suggestion. They look so wonderful and soothing. I've done a little research about Japanese onsen and it seems like the water at one can be very healing for the body. He could tag along with Kazuki to one since onsen is something Kazuki enjoys.

I actually went to a local hot spring once, I can confirm that they are incredibly relaxing.
I thought Kazuki was more of a sauna type of guy, but I think it would be a lot of fun for him and Shoma to hang out together at an onsen.

I can't think of a time when Shoma did anything that we got to see that was in any way, shape or form a vacation/time off. He's been hard at skating and shows and traveling to events. I would like to see him go to Switzerland with Demi-san and not train by himself. I feel better when he's with Stephane but that doesn't mean he'll have it any easier!

Sure he did. He went to that strawberry farm to get fresh strawberries with his family. I'm sure he has had vacation/time off doing other things that fans just don't see which is good. Fans don't need to see and know everything about him. Once the season wraps up next year he'll probably have more time to relax and spend time with friends.

I know we don't get to see everything everyone does and I did allow for that. He'll be on the same trajectory after World's-shows, new programs and playing with the pups.

I'm glad Demi-san is on standby, he made the trip from Kyushu to Aichi for Shoma 
Maintaining multiple quads is physically demanding, and Shoma's not that young anymore. I hope he can balance out his practice as NHK approaches...
The discussion about Shoma's time off is interesting. After last season's Worlds, he does show very little interest in vacation and time off or even anything that feels self-celebratory. It's notable that he's already making his new short program for the next season barely a month after winning his first Worlds title. And he has been talking about how he's losing interest to game for hours because he's more focused in skating lately. Well, whatever works for him I say! The puppies are very healing and as an adult he can spend time however he likes, with whoever he likes, all without telling anyone.
