My greatest fear is looking at the prediction contest and trying to pick out of that group (except for one category). Sheffield was a terrific event to watch. Must have been epic to be there.I'm ready and I'm not ready. This is going to be quite a field of men! I think I'm going to be doing a lot of nervous eating during this competition, and I'm wondering if the start times will be the usual 2 am for me (as most Asian events are!)...Oh, lucky you Louby. Sheffield had a great audience, and everyone seemed so supportive of the skaters. Hope you had a great time. Deniss in the free skate was worth the cost of the ticket! He kept getting better and better!

Do you know if there are any videos of the board exercises?I am definitely ready. I was at Sheffield watching Koshiro and Deniss this weekend. The crowd gave massive support to Stephane's protégées. And I loved seeing Stephane's choreography at the boards. Looking forward to seeing more of the same next weekend with the main man Shoma![]()

Quite some time I think because the age minimum for seniors will be raised from this season onBy the way I was wondering does anyone know what age was Shoma when he first became a senior skater? I was just wondering because Rio Nakata who looks up to him is 14 as a junior so how long does he have before he is able to compete as a senior skater with Shoma?
Shoma made his Senior Grand Prix debut on Oct. 23, 2015 at Skate America. A month prior to that, he did a Challenger event in the U.S. Look at the old face. It almost doesn't even look like him!!!By the way I was wondering does anyone know what age was Shoma when he first became a senior skater? Alas, I am afraid my eyes were on the skaters so I didn't video. I will check my husband's camera as he took tons of photos.Do you know if there are any videos of the board exercises?![]()
Yes, he was 17, just about six weeks away from 18. At that time, he was putting so much product on his hair. It always had kind of a greasy look to it!...I remember telling someone at a 2018 competition that Kazuki was 20, and the person I was talking with couldn't believe it. She thought he was maybe 16. LOL!Shoma looks so young, even though he's already 18 here. I remember seeing him for the first time on TV during Olympics 2018 and I thought he was 18 years old then![]()
Ahh the interview!Hey look, a new Olympics.com article featuring Shoma and Stéphane! Glad to see them taking things one step at a time.![]()
The reigning world champion, Uno made his debut on the senior Grand Prix circuit in 2015 at age 17.
