Looks like the ISU fascination with Chinese pairs has ended to a degree.
S/S were very off tonight on the jumps and the spins. They didn't sing together, the pressure got to them even though the Gold was up for grabs because Z/Z only scored a 197. I know they will be bummed because they are perfectionists and have had much cleaner skates this season.
Honestly though, what were both Z/Z and S/S thinking this year with their LPs? Just absolutely terrible musical selections. I think S/S's music was even worse and more boring and blah than Z/Z's, which is hard to do! I think the Germans will win Worlds eventually, but hopefully with a fun program...

Now that is bad judging. Disappointing that the judges are delusional enough to think Z/Z had better choreography, interpretation, transitions, and skating skills than D/D who are a class act and true artists... ? Whatever.

how is that technical score possible?
Lovely "gift" for them! I guess all this night needs is for the Russians to take Dubé/Davison off the podium! But in all honestly, this team is intriguing. I liked them after seeing them for the 1st time yesterday, but would love for the Candians to make it onto the poduim.
