Jason posted a message to Brian and Tracy on his Instagram! Don't worry, I'm running my long program between rehearsals! With a video. That's why we've been seeing Impossible Dream clips. He's practicing for World's.

Violetta Afanasieva, Jason, Satoko, Kohei Uchimura (gymnastic GOAT), Yuzuru, David Wilson (choreographer), Shae-Lynn, Suzuki Akiko, Rika Hongo, Keiji and Takahito Mura. The guests appear to be carefully picked by Yuzuru and it says a lot about the regard he has for Jason.

Sorry, I have seen some bits but don't have clips or links, because I never worked out how to use Hulu Japan and not surprisingly social media is pretty much all Yuzu and Kohei, but I think he skated both his current programs, and also wore different costumes for the group numbers (Love is a for the opening and Riverdance for the finale). Whether that will be the same tonight and tomorrow, I don't know.

Just a note for you Jason devotees who can't get to see NS - I managed to see most of the day 2 (the actual 11th so really emotional) show and Jason's performances. You all know I'm no expert on skating as such but like all the skaters he really gave it more than everything and if he skates like this at Worlds, quads be damned he ought to be on the podium!!!

I'm more impressed with the fact that costume still fits him. I'm not sure I could squeeze in to something I wore that long ago.
But I've always wanted to see Jason do Riverdance again since he's matured so much since that program. I'm betting it's just a coincidence.

I think Jason is going to dance Riverdance with Shae Lyn. They really enjoyed that when they did it before and so did everyone else.What do you think? That Jason is going to dance with Shae Lynn?

The first thing I thought of when I saw Jason in the RIverdance costume was his duet with ShaeLynn last summer (I forget the show).
But having seen clips (and maybe more ) and listened to descriptions, including those of our "visiting" friends here, it does not appear that Jason skated Riverdance. He simply wore this costume at the finale.
Best as I can tell, he skated Melancholy and Impossible Dream (both with fewer jumps and adjusted choreo, including taking out the final 3F in Impossible Dream, thank heavens) and skated briefly with ShaeLynn in a group number with other skaters, but no Riverdance.
But a strong argument for elite skaters keeping all of their costumes. You never know
