Gala Competition "Russian Challenge" 2023

Can't wait! I hope this is a success (of course it will be) and it expands to a sort of domestic GP with a final at the end of the year. I can't believe they waited so long to do a pro-am!

If the draws were rigged, I wish they had rigged them to have Tarasova/Morozov end the first half. ;) It's so lopsided, after all, they were almost Olympic champions, and should have been in the team event too so double champions in my book. ;) And my girl closing out the entire show, woo!

This sounds like it’s going to be Ice Age: WTF. I am buying popcorn. At least Mozalev won’t have to jump. He can just spread eagle for the full duration with a profound stare into the distance on his visage.
This guy is not looking for easy ways, he has made it much harder on himself. In some moments his skating will resemble the practice on a driving range or ice hockey practice, when they go around obstacles on the ice, placed one by one. But only Andrei's obstacles will move a little and he can't to collide with one of them in any case...

I've seen spoilers of some programs in the news. GOD. This show is something.
And that's Sasha Gallyamov's take on it. It's cracking me up  He wants to keep the suspense and 1tv wants to entice the viewers. Bless!

“What is the interest to watch further when everyone already knows?” Gallyamov about spoilers for the show programs tournament on Channel One

Alexander Gallyamov spoke about the spoilers for the show programs tournament on Channel One.
“As soon as the athletes came up with unusual, interesting and original numbers, you need to immediately spoil everything and highlight it.
Then what is the interest to look further when everyone already knows everything? To be honest, I don't understand this at all.
So thank you, very interesting,” said Gallyamov.

I'm proud of him, this boy worked hard, took initiative, and worked carefully on his number. Today he has something special for us... but no spoilers, I remember. You'll see for yourself soon enough.

I am really looking forward to his program, as well as Kolyad and Aliev’s, plus V/T, K/A an M/G, plus Zagitova because, well, Zagitova and Uno were the dynamic duo who got me intrigued by Figure skating. I might add Uno’s Padam as a separate out of competition number lol. 😅 but I saw it live, so unfair comparison!

Not long now. I've watched the spoilers I don't really care. Looks like Kamila is using choreography from her past programs I'm guessing putting them together as some story I don't know. I have no idea how this is going to look and makes me more excited.

It's just some fun to end the season. They'll try to give a pair one prize, try to give a veteran one prize (if they don't then they're going to ask why bother preparing two weeks when I'm no chance), and then probably pick between the rest of the singles skaters.

There are will be enough prizes for lots of skaters - 1,2,3 places + viewers choice in every category + every jury member can award one prize (and here 5 members)
