I'm not sure if everyone has access to Twitter and had a chance to read through the Unoverse awards. It was really fun to see the choices and to realize that we do have a fandom with lots of different opinions. The other thing that struck me was how many skaters would have NINE (count 'em 9!) costumes from which to choose the favorite! Yes, he definitely is one of the best-dressed, if not THE best, skaters. I think we all appreciated the work the organizers went to for the poll! Anyway, I'm listing the awards and percentages of the winners here, for anyone who didn't see them.

Best Gravity performance -- Worlds 72.9%/ Best Aria -- GPF, 59.2%/ Best Padam Padam -- Worlds 42.7/ Best Gr Spirit -- Nagoya Festival, 50.9%/ Best Program of the season -- Aria, 80.1%/ Best Costume -- gray Aria, 76.6%/ Best pajama set -- Poodle Pique, 41.2%,
Best casual wear -- oversize coat & bucket hat, 33%/ Most ridiculous thing he was hated for -- Winning gold in every competition 27.4%
Best Stephane outfit -- Yuri on Ice trench coat 22.8%/ Best off-ice content -- French lesson with Stephane, 32.2%
Best Social Media -- Unowan You Tube Channel, 33.57%/ Best promotional photo shoot -- 25ANS Magazine, 47.9%
Best quote -- "From now on I'll submit my planned layout with a 4-2", 26.8%/ Most shocking moment -- Reveal as Luffy in One piece on
Ice, 28.9%/ Most memorable jump -- emergency 3A-2A-2A at Nationals, 51.9%/ Best supporting role -- Demi-san as the injury savior,
(a whopping!) 84.1%/ Most valuable moment -- winning the World Championship for the second time, 60.1%

Thank you, Shoma, for an amazing season! :points: :party2: :cheer2:

Shoma has a new program for Prince Ice World starting from May 3-5!!! He will alternate his programs. The rink in this video seems to be Great Park Ice & Fivepoint Arena in Irvine, California... oh, you know, where Shae Lynn Bourne mostly work on choreography with skaters...

What a pleasant surprise! Of all the things I thought he would be doing, I didn't think Shoma would be getting a new program! I knew Marin was getting choreography at the same rink, but I didn't think they'd be getting it together! 😅 Those first few seconds already look like fun! 🤩

LOL. I guessed right! I figured if he was gone THAT long he had to be getting choreo. I'm relieved to see him. So exciting. He usually debuts his SP at a later ice show, so maybe this is a new EX. So exciting. He was definitely at Great Park...Yes, something high energy!! :party2::dbana:

Adding -- Kinda like I wrote on April 23rd elsewhere: wherever she is, he is! LOL.

Nice 👍🏻 if he was in the US, I wonder if he would ever go back to Glacier Ice Arena. The staff there miss him.

True love between them 💞 I have a feeling these two lovebirds will get married one day. Can’t wait to see their performances.

Wait, is this a hint about his new program??!! (from news.yahoo.co.jp) Also.love to hear the words "this year"!
Adding: Very Shae Lynn choice. Wonder if it's the original or a cover.

"....enthusiastically performed last season's exhibition "Padam, Padam". He made it one of the short program candidates for next season, saying, "I haven't decided which program I'm going to do this year. Regarding " Come Together", which was scheduled to be performed in the afternoon performance, he predicted, "I think it would be difficult to change this for short. The possibility is low."

Do y'all think that Shoma might skip the GP events next season? The interview he gave about his injury is worrying. Also, seeing how busy he is this off-season he might not have the time to fully rest his ankle.

I think it's a possibility, if not outright deciding to complete his competitive career. He sounds both sober and accepting about his condition in the interview today, and honestly I feel like he's been preparing for the inevitable even before he got injured. Just as something that will realistically happen sooner than later.

Skating Come Together, the Gary Clark Jr. version. I wouldn't get too excited about the costume. He usually doesn't use the "for real" costumes during the ice shows...Take it easy Sho. You still have several more shows to go!
