A bit about each skater from the final group.

Reese: gorgeous 3-3. When she is on, she is so good in the air. Inconsistent though.

Lucille : very light on her skates. Quite promising.

Mély Ann. This is a very special talent. She is a fighter. She has it all. Jumps extension spins and presence.

Fee Ann. She is taller and more powerful. I really liked her skating. Reminded me a bit of how Katelyn used to be taller, jump higher and skate with more power. Good presence.

Aleksa is a very strong overall skater too. Gorgeous costume. I liked her basic skating too.

Rose is definitely the best of this group at this point in time. She is more refined and polished. Nice program and choreography. Gorgeous dress. She has very tight rotation. She seems to be aware of every position she hits as it was hard to find moments that did not look good from here.

Another 160+ skates by both Rose and Lulu to win their respective groups. These two, along with Uliana, Hetty (my fave) are clearly our top 4 Junior Canadian skaters. Kara, Aleksa and Fee Ann are next in line. I wonder who Skate Canada will give the last Junior GP spot to? I kind of think it should go to Aleksa…

Everest and Jamie had a commanding presence. They are quite fast too. I liked them a lot. I liked the Japanese teams too. I am glad I came all the way here for this. I hope you guys are having fun on the stream because at the rink it is spectacular. Lots of skaters are here and cheering super loud
