Fall on StSq, glad she could laugh about it though.

But then another fall and a pop.... She looks a bit low energy today, I hope she's okay?
Also I don't think this program is working at all for her

Keep in mind that this is a really early start to the season for Kaori, she often doesn't compete until mid-September to early October (for example, she withdrew from this event last season, so her first competition ended up being Lombardia Trophy in mid-September), so her not being in great form is not entirely unexpected (especially because she always struggles at the start of the season).

A fall in the StSq however is a bit unexpected I must admit Well, we'll see in what form she is at Autumn Classic in a month

Some thoughts :

My ice princess Rion did so great!!! Both her short and free are beautiful.

I also love both programs of Ayumi Shibayama.

Yurina’s SP is just . She improved since last year. She’s such a beautiful performer, and I want her to get a JGP event so badly.

Seeing Yuna Aoki skate made me so happy. She’s just glowing on the ice.

Ikura looked like she got taller to me. Maybe that’s why she’s having difficulty with her jumps. . . She’s absolutely lovely though. Keep working hard, fairy girl.

I really like Mayuko Oka. She might put Hokkaido on the figure skating map.

Congrats to Hana. The FS is an interesting choice. And the pigtails are the best choice for the SP.

Wow, Kaoruko! She deserved her beef. It’s so good to see her getting good results.

Sara Hanai is as cute as a button. I’m sure her big brother is proud that she did so well.

Rena Uezono is really impressive. Looking forward to seeing her on the JGP.

I much prefer Mana Kawabe’s new programs to last year’s programs. They really suit her. I hope she’ll have a great year.

Wow, Hana. Only now did I watch her free skate... I'm amazed! Beautiful program: great music, great choreo, really nice costume. And a wonderful 3A on top. Great. Best program and performance I've seen in this young season.

Originally it was the full competitions with SP and FS. But due to the weather (Typhoon), the competitions on Aug 15th were all cancelled. That's why only the FS competitions on Aug 16th were kept.
