He sure wants to compete with the current top male skaters.

That 4lutz looks good. A bunch of skaters have been able to nail it in practice.... just on top of my Canadian head, Nic Nadeau, Conrad Orzel, Keegan Messing... but these guys didn't land it in competition. I think Adam can do it and I hope he will.

yes. the free is good too. I think I prefer the SP but I might end up liking them equally in a few competitions

Just thought I would mention why I love the SP so much. I feel that Adam's skating really matches the sounds of the guitar here. It really works. Not everyone could pull this off.

Yes, he really did do a backflip. I watched it live and had to watch the replay to make sure he actually did one! I was definitely wondering where the second point got deducted from. Thanks for the information!

Surya Bonaly finally got her heir

Just what I thought! I suppose that it's for the early season, and that this backflip will be replaced in time. I'm now wondering if he'll keep it for his Grand Prix trophies. I'm thinking about Grand Prix de France because I have a slim chance of watching it live (not the Short Program, alas, only the Free). Daniel Grassl may withdraw, and Yuma Kagiyama may not have recovered his full shape, but there will be Boyang Jin, and Ilia Malinin... but is not this backflip right into the marketing aim of the latter's promoters? Let's see.
