2023 Skate Canada Women's Short Program

I'm still a couple minutes behind people here but I have to say that Schizas is my favourite female skater at SC. So it hurt to see her stumble a little and do a waxel. But those unplanned step-outs surely suited flamenco choreography, lol.

Chaeyeon takes the ice with great speed and confidence into her jump passes - all very well done. Beautifully done footwork to Lillies of the Valley again. She gets first from me.

I disagree. Lindsay was superior in PCS to Audrey imo. But this it how it goes. Lindsay's UR's tend to make the judges harsh...

It's okay to prefer one skater or one performance, I also preferred Lindsay here.

However, looking at it objectively, Audrey still has very good skating skills, and she is certainly much stronger in performance than Lindsay, even if this was the most expressive I've seen Lindsay ever. Composition is the one thing I wouldn't agree with the judges with, but even then I can see why they tied when looking at the official guidelines.
