As always Misha is a man of few wordsMisha about the women's evenet
'I'm thrilled. I just watched it and enjoyed it.'

Hilarious take. Did you see when Sadkova stopped in the ice and started her Sotnikova-esque roboticism? Come on. That was not as good as Muravieva from even the edgiest and most contrarian perspective. And yea Valieva wins off charisma and her forte of goregous cohesion but this short isnt a show of her artistry at all - her days of deep artistry are not in this season. Dont worry, I admit your god Valieva deserved first, you can relax. It was a great, flawless performance she doesn't have the charisma or artistry of Kamila.
I don't think Muraviova was any better than Sadkova.
Sakamoto is very obviously levels below Valieva by basically every metric. She has experience and consistency over Muravieva but thats it. She wouldnt deserve top 4 today based on any of the SP I've seen from her.The level of the last four is off the charts. Some of the best skating you'll see. Only Sakamoto can compete with these girls.
Valieva in the lead isn't outrageous (the ongoing case doesn't make her a worse skater than Mura). But the gap should have been smaller.

As probably the biggest Muravieva fan on this forum I really think Valieva took the PCS fairly today. I agree Muravieva's raw choreography was arguably more stimulating and unique but Valieva's experienced cohesion and charisma are more related to objective skill and judging.I think Valieva is calmer and especially today she respected the music more. However I consider Muravieva the better skater overall in terms of PCS, especially her skating skills are better, and I think her program is a bit more complex in movements. I would have them rather close. But I would think it will all be decided by the jumps tomorrow anyway.
There's surely no other skater out there looking more stressed than Muravieva.![]()
Im referring to this season because thats the fair comparison. Obviously if you take her best ever skate it'll give her the podium at a national grand prix stage easily. You've seen her Gladiator and Janet Jackson...? Her current short is not it, but to say she wouldn't deserve top 4 here is just nonsense.
My problem with Muravieva's skating is that her programs and costumes and dresses are similar every time. Valieva has also been called a one-style skater, but that's definitely a thing of the past now.I think Valieva is calmer and especially today she respected the music more. RIA insider claims that she's kind of lost her self-confidence.There's surely no other skater out there looking more stressed than Muravieva.![]()
Maybe they were talking about the scoring potential. Sakamoto always have been the most overscored non-russian after Kostner imo.Sakamoto is very obviously levels below Valieva by basically every metric.
