Well Sasha is a professional athlete, they rarely lose shape during pregnancy and postpartum period. I've seen sprinters who ran a distance race 8 months pregnant (on their own, of course, not as part of a competition) and were in great shape.

If Russia presents 3 pairs, it will be the sharks who will gobble everyone up like they gobbled up the best pairs at home. No mistakes. If Russia presents 1 pair... in a year it will be 3 pairs, see above.

Great performance by Kamila, but she got a little too close to the boards for the combo and the performance was not completely in sync with the music compared to her Kazan performance, so I think 78-79 is more fair. But it was a great performance and she always completely rotates her jumps it's difficult to find fault, and if I never saw the Kazan performance I would have to give it 9.25-9.5 across the board for PCS.

It is the same phenomenon as last year peaks in terms of performance in Kazan then it kind of falls away. I assume she has put all her focus into the free skate and jumps. We'll see tomorrow I guess.

Muriviova did well to hang on those jumps and keeps herself in contention tomorrow.

Not that I know of.

Im pretty good with athlete heights, I used to analyze it a lot in other sports because they lie.

I'd estimate Valieva ~5'5 (maybe barely less) and Mura pushing just under 5'6.

Valieva is so much bigger though. So much more imposing on the ice has such great presence you cannot look away.

Valieva cut weight for Kazan and has cut weight again for Moscow. She's probably at minimum weight now.
