2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games | Jan 27 - Feb 1

It looks that way by the time it's supposed to start. I hope Skate Canada didn't jinx Behnke/Sauve by posting that Canada hasn't won an individual medal in figure skating at YOG yet 😬
Well, so far, so good. They are an obvious first at this point. (Just watched the pairs SP delayed. I think I got it on Youtube, just picked a link out of a list when I Googled.)

My partner and his wife were watching the SP at home. He reported she said at the end that with a little clever plastic surgery to the lined faces and a dye job on his grey hair, we could have been slipped in as ringers and done well. Without a blush of shame, I can say that we do skate better on most elements. My solo spins are not memorable, and I don't think I could get away with those little unitards with the strappy tops. :rolleye:

But I'm sure they'll outskate us in the long program. Looking forward to watching that. How come nobody had events like this for teenagers when we were teenagers? Not fair!:console:

you still land 2axels and throw triple/double throws ? you are amazing ! clap clap clap !

I am sure you owned all these teams on PCS ;)
but gosh... i am loving watching these young pairs where partners are so close in age... we should see this ALL THE TIME !

What the heck, I'm gonna join you guys in drinking! All I have on me is some sake that I normally use for cooking, but hey, it still tastes good!
I ran out of bubbles.

I am hosting a party tomorrow. I am making a lot of fancy dishes. One of them need about 3/4 cup of wine... So i thought.. might as well drink the rest of the bottle right now and save the 3/4 cup of wine for tomorrow's dinner cooking... instead of what everyone would normally do, open the bottle, take what is needed for cooking and drink the lefties later LOL..

I am not a drinker... stopped 3-4 years ago... but I have to say that i missed watching skating while drinking LOL.. I am less tense :)

nah.. Canadians were the best... but that's because I am Canadian :) lower level of elements... less flow for the Spanish
True, indeed I'm not the best judge of pairs elements especially when the tech box is not there 😅
I just like the Spaniards' program the most, and their first lift impressed me 😁

It's chaos time! 18 boys, arranged into a group of 6; followed by a resurfacing; followed by two groups of 6.

But, because I haven't seen the Pairs yet and want to avoid spoilers, I'm going to watch the Ephesus Cup and then catch up on the Youth Olympics this afternoon.

Livestream for Men's SP is now on air.

yes.. they had a very solid lift. they are also a bit older i would assume so their connection with audience may have been a tad better. They are good. I hope they keep skating.
