I have to wonder, does the Olympic channel not have access to native English-speaking commentators? Petra here obviously isn't a native

Honestly I don't mind non-native English speaking commentator at all, it's more the content of their commentary that matters to me....

I don't mind Petra's voice or accent at all, but I don't like how she's been comparing these juniors to seniors. Even worse in the pairs event, for me it really kills the Youth Olympics spirit

I didn't watch pairs so didn't know that Petra did that, now that was not good. I personally prefer native English speaking commentators because I get distracted when awkward phrases (like "bottom of his shirt") get used
