Speaking of music...this song gets stuck in my head constantly and I have no idea why...

John Miles "Music" is best used unedited. From the 70s but still love it
Ah I see, also I'm no good with my decades.

This song cracks me up...like it starts so ballad-y and then turns into some sort of aerobics thing...classic 80s.

Ouch bad fall.

lol, when I was young I found an old cassette from my mother and the first song on it was this one and I was so irritated because I thought someone has messed with the song
but it still caught me then and today I think it's almost brilliant

At this rate Hyungyeom will be 4th and will have to chase from behind to podium... (deep sigh)

I skipped pairs in favour of sleep for today, and while I don't want to go on a rant while the Jr Men's SP is still ongoing, I still have to make a few comments.

First of all, the USA had two more eligible pairs, either of which could have been sent here. To be fair to USFS (and them), they have been competing in Novices all season long, but US Novices has very similar requirements to ISU Juniors (same number of elements in SP & FS, same death spiral) and one of the teams would have only had to switch out the lift in the SP with one they do in the FS, which would have been doable if they had been told early enough.

OMG!! She just was comparing them to the top three in the world being between 70-80… I take back my positive comments about the commentator..
There's in fact one singular team competing in Jrs that scored over 70 (or 60 for that matter), and even only 6 who have scored above 50 this season (excluding National competitions). Almost all of them are significantly older (except for Ariano Kent/Laliberte-Laurent), and aging out at the end of this (Metelkina/Berulava) or next season (Kemp/Elizarov, Sierova/Khobta, Desrochers/Thrasher and Flores/Wang), while all four of the teams here won't age out of Juniors until after the 2028/29 (the Aussies), the 2027/28 (the Canadians and Americans) and the 2026/27 seasons (the Spaniards). They have a lot of time left to develop.
