Today there's a new lottery result for those who want to buy tickets for RE_PRAY in Yokohama, and on a sample of over 2,000 participants to this poll, the success rate is about 4%:

It seems like getting tickets for RE_PRAY in Yokohama is one of the worst bloodbaths in Yuzuru Hanyu's shows. It's fortunate that the shock was relieved by the recent news of LiveViewing (in Japan, HongKong and Taiwan movie theatres), TV broadcast in Japan and BeyondLive abroad for Day 2.

Contrasts with the numbers at official competitions, even if I shouldn't say it... given the size of Yokohama, the number of applications for tickets must have been incredible. Though when we see the shows so far, who can be surprised?

Official competitions do have some gorgeous skaters (although the best, by far, is still Yuzuru Hanyu) but for me, and I think for most real (for real) Figure Skating fans, all the excitement of competition is killed by score rigging, which also harms the skaters' performance.
When this scandal is addressed (and it will be addressed, as there's ample proof of the wrongdoings, even if we can't trace the motivations of each individual judge or technical panel member), I believe that the public will be back, and in greater numbers because Yuzuru Hanyu is attracting a much broader public than those who used to watch Figure Skating before knowing him, which has always been his purpose, as he loves Figure Skating so much. But right now, nearly all new Figure Skating lovers who have discovered the sport thanks to his shows, if they give a try to Figure Skating competitions, are repelled by how they are held. To sum it up, while ISU is trying to kill Figure Skating, Yuzuru Hanyu is giving it new life, with a separate, huge, beautiful flame, himself.
