Yay, worlds 2012 - the first utterly epic skate of his career (and the first of many). I admit, I watch this so often... and have several different videos with different commentators, including the oh so prescient "a superstar is born."

And this Free Skating at Nice World Championships was really one of the iconic skates in the history of the sport, I think the first from Yuzuru Hanyu, but also in the interpretation of Romeo, as his has both the wild fury of the youth and the deep pain which usually only mature actors are able to depict; such combination is, I think, an extreme rarity in acting (not reached in the best known movies?) and nonexistent in any artistic representation involving high level athletics, such as ballet?
