Hmm, perhaps it's about someone you don't know very well irl? Or perhaps it's about the situation in the dream; a person who is frozen in a situation they can't seem to escape from... Or I could have a rather overactive imagination (looking back on the few dreams I have mentioned here and yes, I do sometimes still dream about Yuzu and dragons among others... and my main diary has some really weird things. If the sentient doughnuts start skating I'll start worrying, or the Undead Bushrangers. From Space).Hmm, perhaps it's about someone you don't know very well irl? Mind you, finding a body in the ice would certainly get figure skating some publicity, even more than the Harding/Kerrigan thing that did wonders for the sport's finances, I believe... oh dear, I hope the dream doesn't come back with that!

There's a Netflix preview I was shown recently... with lots of dead bodies under the ice... the female character does a photo shoot with her friend out on the frozen lake... does an amazing!!! hydroblade and a fairly average spin... and then the ice breaks... she falls and is among all those dead women under the ice...
Maybe you have seen the preview or the film/series? (I haven't, but it was a catchy preview.)

Even though last night was a short night due to the clocks changing, I had a really lovely dream about one of my kids and I.
I have to confess, although I adopted this skater quite a few years ago, in the past couple of months, I have started to see her in a different light. To the extent that I would say that she has become my new main skating crush. I'm still trying to work out how this happened, but it happened very quickly and without warning.
Don't worry, she's over 18 (and, for that matter, more than half my age). And there was no funny business in the dream anyway. It was just a nice simple story about a new couple who were in the very early stages of their courtship, getting to know each other, enjoying each other's company, and laughing a lot at the most insignificant things.
Oh, how I wish I could experience something like that in real life.
I've clearly been watching too many romantic films in recent months!
(Although, just to confuse matters, it was a couple of 80's sci-fi films that I watched yesterday...)

Lol, it becomes less weird when you don't say "one of my kids".
I've had dreams with actual sexual undertones about skaters in the past... but I've also had them about for instance teachers and politicians I cannot stand at all... so I'm not putting much meaning to them...

Last night I dreamed I stopped into a wine shop..
“I” in quotes because I saw myself in the dream but I was someone I did not recognize..
At any rate I went into the store; Jason Brown was working there - apparently an expert - and I asked for a Pinot Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and a Savignon Blanc and told him to make the selections. He was so nice and confident in his recommendations … it ended there but it had the same vibe as a similar dream I had a few years ago when I dreamt he was my next door neighbor..

Last night I has a comparitively (for me) calm dream about ripping DVDs, but they were all DVDs of skaters and skating.
And before anyone thinks "well of course, her skater puts out DVDs" the ones I can most clearly remember the names of as I ripped were, umm, Trusova. And Gachinski. Ummm.... I am not sure what that says about my subconscious.

I often dream about Norwegian skaters because I engage much in their skating and follow them on social media.
Tonight I dream that one of the Norwegian skaters (won´t name in case i´m jinxing this person) was being put under investigation by WADA after having used make up, more specific, eye shadow, that contained prohibited substance. Apparently the make up label was in another language so there were issues with translation of the list and/or the ingrediens list was not entirely accurate.
So kind of traumatic dream
The worst part is between hair spray and lip balm this scenario is not entirely unrealistic. I just hope i´m not some kind of psychic

I might sound weird when I'll write that, but I have no such dreams - my mind just goes blank when I rest, like : if I watch skating, I watch but if not, I don't think about it - strictly separate both

I never seem to dream about other skaters, except as supporting characters. My ego always makes the dream about me.
I had to get up earlier than usual this morning and had set my alarm. It went off, I forgot why I'd set it, smacked it off, and went right back to sleep. Dreamed my partner and I were doing some kind of skate-off in a rink empty of spectators, but with the judges standing in a row out on the ice like they used to do in the figures part of singles events. We were making a good job of our old "Killing Fields" program, and were pleased with ourselves. As the music built to a climax, he launched me into a perfect throw quad Salchow. When I landed on a clean, solid edge, we both broke into big grins. The judges, however, all looked disgusted, gave us thumbs down like in a Roman arena, and started making retching noises.
I woke up to discover my cat was barfing on the bedroom carpet.
The day is not going well so far.

Oh dear. Last night I dreamed about the rise of a new skater was was beating everyone. I even remember his (rather ridiculous but hey I thought it up when asleep!) name of Huison Hoo 
and a 'costume' and just like those things speed skaters wear except patterned...
Aaaand being me, it turned out he was beating everyone by somehow (it was a dream, the details were unimportant) sneaking senna into their diets.
Please do not think too hard about what this says about me and my subconscious.

Another dream again dreaming about Norwegian skaters, not as traumatic this time, just solved some questions I have been dwelling about Isn´t it nice when you get questions answered in your dreams? 
So - the last couple of months I have been wondering about why Mia Risa Gomez has been ditching her triple toe triple toe. It was so solid before and toeloop seem to be one of her easiest jump. She attempted the 3T-3T in the beginning of the season in the SP, but for a few months now she has been doing 3Lz-2T combo in the SP, and a 3F, instead of 3T-3T and 3Lz as solo jump. The latter layout seems to give her highest BV, so I couldn´t really wrap my head around it. Particular because she hasn´t had much issues with UR. Also, she now only does one 3T in her FS, and had some issues with that as well, so it seems she as avoiding the toeloop as much as possible, which had me wondering about if all of a sudden it has become her enemy.
Well in my dreams tonight it was published an interview in a newspaper about her in relation to European Championship, where they actually asked her why she had changed her 3T-3T with 3Lz-2T in the SP. Apparently she had got some feedback from some judges (test skates? never got to know why judges would give her the feedback about jumps) that they wanted to see her do the lutz combo instead so that it would get stable. They wanted her to challenge herself instead of going for the safe combination, and also as part of the process to eventually be doing a 3Lz-3T in competitions. But also, if she did that, the judges would reward her more with points in general (LOL).
I don´t know what to say other then that figure skating has too much impact at my life and that apparently in my mind I deep underneath think that the judges are corrupt and still tell skaters how to behave
I usually dream more about skating in the days before Championships, worrying about my favorites qualifying or not or have good or bad skates, so I´m probably going to have some more weird figure skating dreams in the upcoming days

Literally had this wild random dream last night:
I was part of a fantasy-troop learning to fight with a gundam-like big robots controlled using our minds.
One of the other recruits in the group was Kaiya Ruiter Poor Kaiya, in this dream she was getting scolded by the training instructor for not following some instructions properly. She still managed her charming smile despite the scolding though
