Well, I hope they automatically send:
1) Justine M - she participated at HP camp and has a SB of 169 from last season. She is not in 160+ shape this season. But, I have to imagine she was at HP camp for a reason

2) Fee Ann - she deserves it for her Challenger win last season. 180+ score was super impressive and she has already scored 165 domestically this season

Also so that Quebec can have more spots for Challenge in Senior Women too. Right now most of the byes to Challenge for Senior Women are for Ontario.

Justine is decently placed on the GP alternates list from the ISU, and could get an assignment if withdrawals happen in a certain way thanks to the new rules and USA being maxed out in half the competitions. I think that may have played a part in having her at HPC.

They still aren't on the Events page, but I think that's more Skate Canada forgetting to add them They would've been withdrawn by now if they weren't going, they were quick to update for the addition of Fabbri/Ayer.

Quebec boys LOVE
1) hockey
2) short track speed skating
3) long track speed skating
4) pairs
5) ice dance
6) single skating

Quebec has produced world and olympic champion in all these disciplines if i am not mistaken (well dance, if considering virtue and moir who did represent IAM/Quebec when they came back)

BUT only one single man has ever been a National senior champion... in an odd year plagued with injuries of the top guys if I recall correctly....

They'll be archived on Dailymotion. For CQE, some were broken out by event, others were done in a 7 hour long video for the whole day

I try to give time stamps if they're all in one video once the archives are up. It takes a day or two due to the size of some of the archives.

This is a phenomenal score

The same three skaters that swept Pre-Novice two seasons ago and Novice last season, may sweep Juniors at Nationals, this upcoming season.

Aside from the big score from Sandrine... Aleksa, Starvrina, Mély-Ann.. all did not so good.

Bravo to Martina Ariano Kent who is using her time well while they are not competing as pairs... She is in 3rd after the SP, just behind Volkova

Penultimate Junior Women group is starting warm-up, with Stavrina as the first skater. Logane Boulay is currently leading with a score of 113.47.

Stavrina got 78.25 for her free, and into first with a total of ~116. That was a better free than she had at NextGen, hopefully she can build on it for Sectionals/Challenge.

Megane looked clean in her first jumping passes, had a fall on the first jump of her second set of passes, but she kept it going. She's so happy after it 97.06 for the free, 135.52 total

I liked Alice Roy, she looked like she had fun with Bring Me To Life. 77.24 for the free, 117.1 total and into second ahead of Stavrina. She's very happy with her score

Mely-Ann had a bad fall to start, and looked clean after. Maybe a pop into a double in there and some underrotations. 91.03 for the free, 133.76 total into 2nd. Megane still in first with four skaters left.

Laurence Gignac is skating to that creepy Can't Help Falling In Love cover. She's landing her jumps, until I wrote that and then she fell. And another fall. She gets the three jump combo though! And a Chasing Cars cover to end. 83.27 for the free, 127.75 total and into 3rd.

Martina looks like she's using her Radioactive costume and skating to If I Ain't Got You by Alicia Keys. Jumps aren't clean, she has a nice hydroblade. 70.56 for the free, 116.96 total. It's nice to see her back competing.

Megane is now on the podium.

I liked Aleksa's presentation, I think there were some pops there though. 95.7 for the free, 144.65 total into first.
