Thought it was only MIDA under close scruting because of Chen/Pedersen. IAM was only about Davis/Smolkin (and the Holubtsova/Bielobrov dancers), or I missed something there ?
Sorensen trained at IAM.

the point i was making though is that some fans were very aggressive to throw IAM under the bus, whenSorensen trained at IAM.
Solene Mazingue trains at IAM and shared that she was a victim of sexual assault... Some fans even accused Nikolaj of doing this... or anyone at IAM... but she hasn't mentioned who it is at least for now and said to not draw any conclusions for now... it could be any skater really. But right away, some fans were again throwing IAM under the bus without knowing anything.Oh, I missed that detail.
I'll just hope I won't see other skeletons getting out of the closest, but not holding my breath.
what I thought the posts suggested was that the F/D marriage was suspicious. So of course, people would wonder if others are.I'm not certain what anyone else's marriage has to do with the suspension of Desyatov (and even there, not really sure how the marriage is related, except perhaps for the spousal immunity privilege for testimony at a trial).

I remember long time ago, people suggested that Lauriault/Le Gac's marriage was bogus... yet, they are still happily married and even changed feds in the meantime..
I understand what you are saying, but (not directed at you, you didn't say this, just in general) I'm not going to question marriages. Diana and Gleb have come out and said in interviews that they married earlier than they planned for Gleb's green card. I have a relative who married his non-citizen girlfriend straight out of college, earlier than either would have planned, for the same reason. That is not green card fraud. Fraud is "I've never seen you before and I am marrying you so you are married to a citizen". Well, exaggerated slightly for a point...
In any event, I would highly doubt that is the basis for a Safe Sport suspension.
They are different organizations in different countries. That's right. This is exactly what I am asking pinpointing the difference in handling. Are the rules different?Isn't SafeSport a separate organisation to OSIC? If so, each will have its own policies and procedures to follow, and each operates within the legal framework for its country. There is no international framework or legislation.
Each organisation will have set its own rules. There are no internationally agreed frameworks or rules which they all have to follow. Each country also has a different legal framework which needs to be followed. They are different organizations in different countries. That's right. In the Sorensen discussion there was this big point brought up that they could do nothing about it until there was a decision on the charges, not just a complaint. Here it seems the set of rules is different? Or are the rules simply applied differently?
This is exactly what I am asking.
Yes, I know. I am asking about these sets of rules. Do you know them? Each organisation will have set its own rules. There are no internationally agreed frameworks or rules which they all have to follow. Each country also has a different legal framework which needs to be followed.
Yes, it’s immigration fraud that can have fines or even jail time.Would that cause police involvement?
but it's not just about the rules of every organization... it's also about the nature of the misconduct. In this case, it seems like the police has already investigated... which wasn't the case with Soerensen so OSIC had to run their own investigation, years after the incident.Yes, I know. I am asking about these sets of rules. Do you know them?

I am not sure I can agree with you... in the conspiracy theory, it really put a huge blame on the USFS and gave the ill feeling that skaters were completely at risk of being pulled out from their assignments for whatever the FED's reason... very sick stuff..
Oh gosh, what a horrible mess. This is getting worse by the minute. And now I wish the situation only was USFS doing politics and replacing them with another team, that seems like a dream situation compared to how this all turned out![]()
While I do think a Code of conduct may be a good idea (for other reasons), a grown man should know that you shouldn't assault someone. A Code of Conduct isn't going to stop him if he chooses to do so.I am getting to the point where I really think that the ISU needs to set up a basic code of conduct to insure that everyone is safe in the sport because these announcements are becoming far too common for my comfort.
