Yeah, now i see they competed in Russian nationals years ago and they didn't even finish in top 10 there. The irony is they will likely have the better placement at Worlds

Ekaterina and Dmitrii never competed at Russian Nationals, that was her with her former partner Ilya when they were still primarily skating in Juniors.

The scores Geynish/Chigirev were putting up in 2022/23 probably would have put them in the top 10 at Nationals in that season, but the situation in Russian Senior pairs is certainly also a different one nowadays, last season they only had 10 entries at Nationals.
