... imho Nikita could be more supportive towards Minerva... i am looking medal ceremony now.
Also, in general, I do not like his usual attitude in Kiss and Cry-it would be nice for him to be more supportive encouraging, more appreciative. Minerva gives everything,

So happy for Emily and Ian who said they skated for themselves and for their coaches.
Charlene & Marco are understandably upset, but they can only go up from here. They are strong people and are too good to let this conquer them. Evgenia & Geoffrey are just enjoying their win - he can't stop smiling. Such a lovely smile too!

Charlene and Marco should be able to win in China and make the GP final. I would have said that their robots programme gives them a good chance of taking the World title this year, except that it's in the US. Chock and Bates would need falls in both programmes to not win there.

Well the Olympics are in Italy next year, so Marco and Charlene still have an advantage there. I like all three "top" teams but Charlene and Marco are my favorites because they are the best pure skaters. Unfortunately, I think G/P and C/ B just have stronger material this year. Unlike others, I actually like the fact that G/ F are trying something different but the
pairs/aerial tricks of this program are just taking away from what makes them: great pure ice dance mastery.

I could watch any of it live and am not sorry.We are finally finished with this accursed competition, praise the heavens. I am going to go to bed, it's 5 am and I'm praying that I don't have nightmares of the things I saw during the weekend. Thank you all so much for keeping me company through this shipwreck of a GP, see you next week
But actually it's been a poor GP season for the seniors so far, everything has been either dull, substandard or absolutely disastrous. And not just on the ice, the organisation and officialdom.

LOL! How do you know Nikita is not supportive of Minerva? LOL! We do not know what their personal dynamic and interaction is off-the-ice. What 'attitude' of Nikita's are you referring to? Unless you know Nikita and Minerva personally, it is impossible to judge either of their personalities from watching them in the kiss-n-cry!
From off-ice interviews I have seen of Miniki, they both appear to be mutually supportive of each other and easygoing in their interaction, with much teasing and with a publicly unspoken but apparently strong bond based on admiration and respect. At least, that's what I detect and interpret.

I'm glad your question has been answered. The Miniki nickname is not my creation, but I think it's cute, and it suits Minnie & Nikita.
Another cute option would be VoloHa, but that probably won't catch on like 'Miniki' has. I liked this pairing from the moment I heard they had matched up. Good for them that their partnership is doing so well in their second season.Similar threads
