I have always loved that music, ever since I was a youngster who had a music box mechanism that played it. So I am biased. But that was beautiful.

They should win both segments, and overall.

Ach, Massimiliano BUCCIARELLI is trying to take a photo of them and their coaches, and is standing right in front of the TV camera completely blocking the view! But, somebody's arm appeared and pulled him out of the way so that we could see!

They do win.

Then Laura FINELLI arrives, and she and Max go and sit in front of them, while Max takes a selfie of them all together.

I just love seeing cameraderie like this!

Ava Valentina AVERSANO MARTINEZ / Christian BENNETT (MEX) were standing there a long time waiting for their music to start. But it did while they were still in their starting pose.

He is wearing a grey jumper with black trousers. She i wearing a dress that is mostly various shades of grey, but with white at the end of the skirt part.

I enjoyed the first piece of music, "The Secret History" by Andrew Skeet.

You all know that I love "Dernière Danse" by Indila. Well, the second part was to another of her songs, "Tourner Dans Le Vide". But I don't particularly like it. Far too repetitive.

But they were good.

We completely missed them getting the scores, because we were still on the replays until the next partnership were introduced!

Olivia Josephine SHILLING / Leo BAETEN (BEL).

Livvy was wearing a dress that was mostly dark blue, except for the end of the skirt part which was a much lighter blue. Leo was wearing black trousers with a shirt that was the same dark blue as Livvy's dress. The shirt was completely open, and had a white T-shirt underneath.

They were skating to Céline Dion's version of "It's All Coming Back to Me Now"

I have always loved this song. (Big Meat Loaf fan here!) And I have always thought it was perfect for skating to. And Livvy and Leo didn't disappoint.

Taking a long time for the scores to come through. Which is a pity, because I'm getting fed up with hearing Eminem playing in the background.

Now "Thunder" by Imagine Dragons. Come on, they have better songs than that!

Finally! They go into the lead of both the FD and overall.

But, my goodness it is close in the FD. They lead it by just 0.52 points!

Raffaella Adele KONCIUS / Alexey SHCHEPETOV (USA) are "Romeo And Juliette".

She is wearing a blue dress that is so pale that it is verging on white. He is wearing a dark grey shirt, with a black waistcoat and black trousers.

On the whole good. But their Twizzles were way out of sync.

They were barely more than ahead of Livvy and Leo in the SD (0.22 points), so I think they will go into 2nd.

No. They go into a massive lead of around 18 points in both!

Shows what I know!

I love the SD from Lucy HANCOCK / Ilias FOURATI (HUN). But, this Depeche Mode programme this doesn't have quite have the same effect on me.

"Sweetest Perfection" followed by "Personal Jesus".

She is wearing a beautiful black dress with red petticoat underneath. He is wearing a white shirt and black tie, and Simon Cowell's black trousers.

Ach!!!! Massive fall for Lucy. But, they recover quickly from it.

Apart from that, they were really good.

They go into 2nd in both the D and overall, roughly half-way between 1st and 3rd.

Yeah, I expected that.

What is going on with French Ice Dance?! Where is the weirdness?!

Lou TERREAUX / Noe PERRON (FRA) were skating to classical music (Ferdinand Ries, and then Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart)

She is wearing a copper coloured dress. He is wearing a funny coloured shirt that is part copper and part, I don't know, is that blue? His trousers are black.

It was a beautiful programme. And I didn't spot anything wrong.

They weren't that many points ahead of Koncius / Shchepetov in the SD. But, I am going to say that they will go into the lead of both FS and overall.

Yep, they extend their lead by exactly 2 points.

Vanessa PHAM / Anton SPIRIDONOV (USA) both look to be wearing all black. But when you see the top half of Vanessa's dress up close, it is see-through. (There are sparklies in strategic places!) And later on I spotted that the underside of her dress was red.

Beautiful orchestra music. Then a female voice came in singing in Spanish, accompanied by a piano. Then music that sounds like it is straight out of a period drama.

There was one time that I noticed them out of sync. But otherwise, that was very good.

A very dramatic programme.

Oh! Only 3rd in the FD. But they had enough of a lead from the SD to remain in the lead overall.

That surprised me.

Leia DOZZI / Pietro PAPETTI (ITA) both wearing costumes where the top half is blue and the botton half is black.

The piano music is lovely, but I wouldn't be fussed on the singer. And come the second song, it had reached levels. That singing was brutal!

Sorry, but the vocals really spoiled my enjoyment of the whole programme.

They skated it well, but I just couldn't enjoy it because of what I was hearing. They deserve better than that.

They go into 3rd in the FD, and the overall lead.

Eh?! "Swan Lake"?! But they're both wearing all black! You need a bit more white in there than just her boots! (Granted, she's got a silver tiara. But that hardly makes much difference).

Amy CUI / Jonathan ROGERS (USA) have me confused.

But they skated it beautifully (when have you ever known a "Swan Lake" programme that wasn't beautiful?)

If this doesn't go into the lead of both FD and overall, I know nothing!

You know, it was only there now that I realised that Holly HARRIS / Jason CHAN (AUS) actually won the SD yesterday!

She is wearing a beautiful black dress. He is wearing black trousers, and a white shirt which has soot or oil markings on it.

Has nobody ever told him not to be doing dirty work while wearing white?

I love "Clair De Lune". This programme started and ended with it, but had a lot of other things in between.

Yet, they didn't take away from the beauty of the programme.

I know I always have a soft spot for small Fed skaters. And I always tend to support Aussies anyway. But, I want them to win.

They do!!! FD And overall.

It's not their first win (they won the 2022 Santa Claus Cup). But I am so happy for them.

WELL DONE HOLLY AND JASON!!!
